I was posted as a trainee at HCL FOUNDATION office- Chennai in my MSW Program, I did manage to visit the filed and community along with project sites and programs under the supervision of the higher officials. It was a very good learning to be a part of HCL Foundation as a social work trainee. Please do be benefited by viewing the slides.

community. The aim is to make a TOBACCO FREE

10. Open shelter for men with Psychosocial needs-BANYAN
FOUNDATION
The shelter provides food, accommodation and other basic
needs for the men rescued from the roads of Chennai in collaboration
with Greater Chennai Corporation.

23. ECO-RESTORATION PROJECT
oImplemented by Environmentalist Foundation of India (EFI); Funded
by HCL Foudation under the Harit- Green Space Inititative.
o2 places- Kannagi Nagar Lake and Alli Kulam(Lily pond), Akkarai.
oThe aim is to make the water bodies resourceful for the species
living in water and make them free from extinction.
oTo engage the neighborhood in the maintenance with added
responsibility is an effort to be taken by the HCL Foundation.
25. MICRO NUTRTION PROJECT
• The micro nutrition package is provided for 100 children infected by
HIV AIDS.

• To boost the immune system of the children undergoing Anti
Retroviral Treatment(ART) is the aim of the project.

Thiruvallur District.
