2. Introduction
 MSI Biotech deals with Biotechnology based products for the
treatment of waste water for the reduction of organic
compounds.
 All the products has been developed these products after a
prolonged R & D, testing and field trials

sectors like leather Tanning, Sugar mills, Pharmaceuticals,
Beverages, Domestic Waste, Fertilizers industries, Paper Mills,
Textiles, Dyes, Dyeing, etc.
 MSI Biotech is a company of potential team of microbiologist,
biotechnologists, and chemists having good exposure to enzyme
engineering, effluent treatment and microbes.

3.  We do undertake Assignments in stabilizing the treatment
process in the Effluent and Seewage Treatment Plants, and we
do undertake research assignments projects also.
 MSI Biotech has raised Seed fund from Technology Business
Incubator and Grant from MSME for the Research and
Development.
 Extensive tests were carried out at different levels like lab scale,
bench scale, pilot scale and in Effluent Treatment Plants &
Common Effluent Treatment Plants.

5. Effective Biotechnological Tools
 Consortium of Microbes and enzymes for the degradation of
organic compounds in the waste both solid and liquid.
 The Products are designed as per the requirement or the effluent
generation from the industries.
 Enzymes will breakdown the complex organic substances to simpler
substances, and the microbes will easily assimilate that substances.
 This products will work under both micro-aerophilic and aerobic
conditions also. (i.e. it will work under the DO from 0.3 – 4.5)
 Dosage depends on the COD and Flow of the effluent.
 For 150 KLD with COD limit of 7500 the requirement is just 1 litre
 If this product will be dosed in the collection tank means, it will
reduce the pollutant before in enters in the stream of ETP, it will
bring the changes in the quality of effluent which can be easily
treated.

7. Bio - cultures
 Anaerobic Bio – Cultures are purely developed to work under
strict anaerobic conditions in the anaerobic digesters for Bio- gas
productions, and effluent treatment.
 Aerobic Bio - Cultures are purely developed to work under
aerobic conditions and it will grow fast to maintain the Biomass
level in the biological tank. 20 – 30% of potential biomass will be
achieved in 25 – 30 days of time.

8. Micronutrients
 This are the essential nutrients for the growth of microbes in the
waste water for the degradation of Pollutants.
 This nutrient will maintain CPN ratio in the Effluent.
 It is an alternative for Urea and DAP.
 Along with macronutrient it contains micro and nano
micronutrients also.

9. Enzymes for EPS
 This product will degrade the EPS present in the wastewater of
Membrane Bioreactor, by which the filterability get increased.
 It will reduce the organic fouling in the MBR system.

 It reduces the odour gets generated during the waste water
treatment.

10. Research and development
 The products have been developed after a prolonged R & D,
tested at different levels like lab scale, bench scale, and in large
scale both in Effluent Treatment Plants as well as Common
Effluent Treatment Plants.
OUR PRODUCTS HAVE THE FOLLOWING PERFORMANCE
CHARACTERISTICS:
 20% reduction in the total cost of Effluent Treatment
 ~ 95 % BOD reduction and 80% of COD reduction
 Energy savings potential up to 25%
 Improve the quality of tertiary treatment (i.e. RO process) and
thus increase in life of membranes.
