This document describes a motorized jib crane that contains four motions: base motion to transfer along an x-axis, rotary motion of a vertical arm in 360 degrees, lifting motion of a horizontal arm to lift loads, and motion of a gripper. The crane is controlled remotely by an operator and uses high-torque DC motors to flexibly lift and place heavy loads anywhere desired in an industrial setting. It explains that the project requires powerful DC motors to bear the weight loads.

MOTORIZED JIB CRANE
ABSTRACT
Motorized jib crane is the used to lift the heavy loads in the industries, the basic
principle of these types of cranes are to lift heavy loads that are mostly in quintals or
tones. The motorized jib cranes contains total 4 motions
1. Base motion to transfer the crane along x- axis
2. Rotary motion of vertical arm in 360 degree
3. Motion of horizontal arm to lift the load
4. Motion of gripper
The basic principle of this project is that this crane has to very flexible in operation, this
crane can go anywhere, lift the load and place it anywhere as operator want. This total
system is control by the remote, remote is with the operator.
This total project is depends on the motors i. e. DC motors, i. e. for this type of
heavy project in industry, it requires a high torque motors. i. e. load bearing capacity of
DC motors should high. To lift the weight gripper is used hear.
