Molluscs are soft-bodied animals that can live on land or in water, with some possessing hard calcium-based shells for protection. They have simple or complex reproductive systems, feeding on algae, small fish, coral reefs or prawns. Molluscs are bilaterally symmetrical and their soft bodies may be divided into two or three parts.
