5. A hospital manager is a professional who oversees the administration and
operations of a hospital or other healthcare facility. Some of the common
duties and responsibilities of a hospital manager are :

administrative personnel.
• Creating and managing the budgets and financial plans for the hospital
• Ensuring the quality and efficiency of the patient care and services

• Resolving any issues or complaints from the patients, staff, or public
• Staying updated with the latest trends and developments in the healthcare
industry
6. What is the difference between
a manager and a leader?
Here are some of the main differences between leaders and managers:
Leaders are more focused on creating a vision for the future, while managers
are more focused on implementing strategies and achieving goals
.Leaders are more likely to innovate, inspire, and empower others, while
managers are more likely to administer, organize, and delegate tasks
Leaders are more concerned with people and culture, while managers are
more concerned with systems and structure
Leaders are more open to change and risk, while managers are more inclined
to maintain and control
However, these differences are not absolute, and there are some shared
characteristics and skills that both leaders and managers need, such as
communication, honesty, integrity, decisiveness, respect, empathy, creativity,
confidence, optimism, and commitment.
Moreover, some managers can also be effective leaders, and some leaders can
also be competent managers.
The best managers and leaders are those who can balance both roles and
adapt to different situations.
7. Do you prefer a manager with
a medical background or not?
I prefer that the director of the medical facility to have a medical
background because he is familiar with all aspects surrounding
the work environment and has a medical background that helps
him assess situations and take the necessary and appropriate
actions and decisions for different situations. It is also preferable
for him to have an administrative background by learning after
courses that help him in Acquiring administrative expertise and
employing it in the field of work.
