My name is Dr.Ashraf Ibrahim El-Doussouky
, I have been assigned the role of Head of
the Medical ICU Department at a general
hospital with a capacity of 300 beds since
2021 till now. My department specifically
focuses on critical care for patients in the
Medical ICU, which has ten beds. In the
larger hospital, there are various other
departments, including CCU, Medical,
General Surgery, Urology, Gynecology and
Obstetrics, Pediatric ICU, Gastroenterology,
and more. As the Head of the Medical ICU
Department, my job entails coordinating
and overseeing the delivery of high-quality
care to critically ill patients, collaborating
with medical staff to develop treatment
plans, monitoring patient progress,
managing a team of healthcare
professionals, allocating resources
effectively, and ensuring compliance with
regulations and quality assurance
