• Parents no longer raise children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
• More and more parents look to psychology as a source of wisdom for raising their
children.
• Husbands and wives do not follow God's order for them.
• Stress on materialism and an easy life

• A court decree that terminates a marriage; also
known as marital dissolution
* A divorce decree establishes the new relations between
the parties, including their duties and obligations
* Property that they own
* Support responsibilities of either or both of them
* Provisions for any children

18. Euthanasia
* The practice of intentionally ending a life in order to
relieve pain and suffering
* Euthanasia is categorized in different ways:
- Voluntary euthanasia – legal in some countries and U.S. States
- Non-voluntary euthanasia – illegal in all countries
- Involuntary euthanasia – usually considered murder
Euthanasia (Advance Directive Bill ) pending in Phil Congress = Do Not Resuscitate or DNR
Argument about OWN human rights and OWN choice without considering
human right of the person to be euthanized and abortion (for the unborn).
Concept of sacrifice and suffering is not an option anymore because humanity is
more into the culture of me, myself and I. It has already turned into a Culture of
Death.

Catholic belief: The embryo or fetus is a human with the right to life, thus
abortion is murder.

21. Total Reproductive Health
 Contraceptive controls birth artificially.
 Moral issue is whether a man and a woman should engage in
sexual intercourse merely for sexual pleasure or mainly for
procreation.
 More important moral issue which may even have legal
implication is the connection between contraception and
abortion.
 Even if the RH Law still considers abortion as illegal and
punishable criminal act, it is nevertheless promoting abortion.

23. Homosexuality or Gay Marriage
 Romantic attraction, sexual attraction or sexual behavior between
members of the same sex or gender
 Most common terms for homosexual people are lesbian for females
and gay for males, though gay is also used to refer generally to both
homosexual males and females
 Many gay and lesbian people are in committed same-sex
relationships

24. Sex Education in School
 Resources on population and
development and human sexuality
of the government have been
rejected by the Catholic Church - it
runs counter to its belief.
 Among other things, the Church
categorically states that
masturbation is a sin.

26. Is currently UNDER THREAT of destruction
A prophecy by Sister Lucia dos Santos, of Fatima, In it we find written:
“the final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be
about marriage and the family. Don’t be afraid, because anyone who
operates for the sanctity of marriage and the family will always be
contended and opposed in every way, because this is the decisive
issue. However, Our Lady has already crushed its head.
Our Lady of Good Success (17th century) message:
“Thus I make it known to you that from the end of the 19th century and shortly after the middle of the 20th
century…the passions will erupt and there will be a total corruption of morals… As for the Sacrament of
Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and deeply profaned.
Freemasonry, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the aim of doing away with this
Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin and encouraging procreation of illegitimate children born
without the blessing of the Church… In this supreme moment of need for the Church, the one who should speak
will fall silent.”
Our Lady of Akita (Japan) prophecy:
“The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing
cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their
confreres…churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon
will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.”

27. Pope Leo XIII was alleged to have heard in a vision between Christ and Satan,
which led him to compose the prayer to St. Michael? How long the final battle
will last, and what will come after?
Catholics are not required to believe in even the most approved and venerated
private revelations, but many of us choose to do so
