Holy Baptism is the basis of the Christian life and the gateway to other sacraments. Through Baptism, we are freed from sin, reborn as children of God, and made members of Christ and his Church. Baptism can be received by infants or adults; infants rely on God's grace and the decision of their parents, while adults publicly profess their acceptance of Christ. Baptism transforms us into God's people through receiving Christ's salvation, new life, and the promise of eternal life and forgiveness of original sin.

Divino D. Ledesma discusses how many of the Philippines' problems stem from a lack of good parenting and role models at home. He argues that if parents lead by good example, teach their children right from wrong, and are present in their lives, the next generation will grow up to be good citizens. However, many Filipinos work abroad leaving their children in the care of others, which can have negative effects like insecurity, materialism, and gender identity issues. Ledesma emphasizes the importance of parents showing their children love through quality time together rather than just material gifts.

Katawang Mistiko ni Kristo
Si Kristo ang Ulo ng Simbahan
Ang ibat ibang tao ang bumubuo ng
katawan ng Simbahan.

hindi nakaugnay sa ulo.
Tayo ang ibat ibang bahagi ng iisang
katawan na may kanya-kanyang gawain
para sa katawan.
24. Mateo 16:17-19
“Mapalad ka, Simon na anak ni
Jonas, sapagkat ang katotohanang
ito ay hindi ipinahayag sa iyo ng
sinumang tao kundi ng aking Amang
nasa langit.

upang maligtas?
Kailangan! Sapagkat ang Simbahan ang
magtuturo ng landas tungo sa Daan ng
Katotohanan.

lupa ay ipahihintulot sa langit;
ano man ang inyong ipagbawal
sa lupa ay ipagbabawal sa
langit.” (Mateo 18:18)

na ating tinanggap
sa Binyag ay siya
ring Espiritu Santo
na ipinagkaloob sa
mga Apostol.
38. Bakit hindi natin
nararanasan ang
pagkilos ng Espiritu?
Maaaring ang Espiritu Santo
ay nakagapos dahil sa ating
kasalanan, o sa ating buhay
na makasarili.
39. Ano ang dapat gawin
upang makalaya ang
nakagapos na Espiritu?
Talikuran ang kasalanan at

upang makalaya at kumilos sa atin
ang Espiritu Santo.

ay bigyan ng biyayang
magsimula ng bagong buhay.
