Pada akhir Fase F, peserta didik menggunakan teks lisan, tulisan dan visual
dalam bahasa Inggris untuk berkomunikasi sesuai dengan situasi, tujuan,
dan pemirsa/pembacanya. Berbagai jenis teks seperti narasi, deskripsi,
eksposisi, prosedur, argumentasi, diskusi, dan teks otentik menjadi rujukan
utama dalam mempelajari bahasa Inggris di fase ini. Peserta didik
menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk berdiskusi dan menyampaikan
keinginan/perasaan. Peserta didik menggunakan keterampilan berbahasa
Inggris untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai teks dalam berbagai macam topik
kontekstual. Mereka membaca teks tulisan untuk mempelajari
sesuatu/mendapatkan informasi dan untuk kesenangan. Pemahaman mereka
terhadap teks tulisan semakin mendalam. Keterampilan inferensi tersirat
ketika memahami informasi, dan kemampuan evaluasi berbagai jenis teks
dalam bahasa Inggris sudah berkembang. Mereka memproduksi teks lisan
dan tulisan serta visual dalam bahasa Inggris yang terstruktur dengan
kosakata yang lebih beragam. Peserta didik memproduksi beragam teks
tulisan dan visual, fiksi maupun non-fiksi dengan kesadaran terhadap
tujuan dan target pembaca/pemirsa

DEFINITION OF ANNOUNCEMENT TEXT :
An announcement is a written or spoken statement in public or formal words containing
information about an event that has happened or is going to happen so, people know what, when, and
where it is about. In general, this announcement text can be both formal and informal. It is formal when
conveyed to a general scope, such as the government's announcement to the people regarding the appeal to
stay at home or the announcement at school about holidays. Like other types of text, announcements also
have their own linguistic rules. The types of tenses that are often used in announcement text are Simple
Present Tense and Simple Future Tense. In addition, announcements also usually contain Imperative
Sentences, because this text usually contains an invitation and is delivered concisely
PURPOSE OF ANNOUNCEMENT TEXT
The purpose of announcement text is to inform readers or listeners about certain information.
GENERIC STRUCTURE
Opening : The opening section contains the title and purpose of the announcement or an outline of the
information that will be conveyed in the announcement
Content : The content section contains complete information about what you want to convey to the general
public through the announcement. For example, if you want to announce an event, it means that the
content section will contain the time and place of the event, to other provisions regarding the event (5w +
1H)
Closing : The closing section contains information about the contact person who can be contacted
regarding the announcement if the reader needs more information. In this section, you can also include the
website or social media of the announced event
