Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

PowSyBl is an open source project hosted by LF Energy, which offers a comprehensive set of features for electrical grid modelling and simulation. Among other advanced features, PowSyBl provides:

- I think it happens at the beginning of technology because they use
machines but people do all the process. People have to control
machines because they can’t do the labour by themselves.
2. How is the factory organized? What elements of the industrial process
can you see?
- The factory is organized in parts. One part has the control of everything
in the factory. Another part is composed by wheels. Another part is in
charge of make manual products,…
4. 3. Describe the work in the factory? Is there division of labour?
- As I said before, the factory has different parts. People are the
responsible for the machines. When somebody want to work faster
with machines, another person has to control them.
4. What differences can you notice between working during these times
and working today?
- Working today is easier than working these times because today
machines do all the work instead of people and factories can make
more products, so people can sell more products.
5. 5. Give your opinion about the film. Did you like it?
-I liked it. I have never seen a film without voices. I thought it would be
very boring. I liked it because I think that Charles Chaplin was a great
actor and he did really well his job.
