3. 1. Inside the History of Industry,
when do you think the action of the
film happens?
I think that happens after Charles is
dismissed.
4. 2. How is the factory organised?
What elements of the industrial
process can you see?
The organisation of the workers consist in
that one person should do one thing and
like this.
In the film we can see the workforce
5. 3. Describe the work in the factory?
Is there division of labour?
The labour of the employees is to make as
many products as they can. In the film
one worker should do one thing, another
worker should do another thing. Their
worked like a chain.
I think that there is a vision of labour.
6. 4. What differences can you notice
between working during these times
and working today?
Today there are more machines and the
technology helps a lot. Before, they did it
with their hands and they had to work
harder than now
7. 5. Give your opinion about the film.
Did you like it?
Yes, I enjoyed the film. I have never seen a
film like this, in black and white and
almost without sound. It was a new
experience but at the same time was
awesome. I could understood all, and the
expression of their faces helped me. A
very good film.
