Technology is an interesting thing that scientis create to complete our necesity and wants. We use technology in everything that we in this moment for example: study, work or clean.
The Advantages and Disadvantages of Technology to StudentsMhister Laagan
It is important for the students to learn and understand both the disadvantages and advantages of technology since it becomes a part of their daily life. Similarly, technology use must not be excessive. In fact extreme technological use in students can cause all sorts of problems; socially and physically so it is important for the students to understand that yes, technology is an amazing thing; but at the same time, it should not be used all of the time. They should not be overly dependent on it.

Disco 2013: Selay Arkun - Evaluation of Draw Something App in Educational per...8th DisCo conference 2013
Vocabulary is considered to be one of the most important components for learning a foreign language. Research suggests that educational games could be used for vocabulary learning. In the literature, there are cases of playing Pictionary, a word guessing game, as a classroom activity to learn new vocabulary. Draw Something is an online and collaborative game in English, similar to Pictionary. It is a mobile application which is played in pairs with players trying to guess the word from their partner’s drawings. The purpose of this study is to evaluate Draw Something in an educational games perspective. This research is based on a questionnaire focusing on players’ experiences of vocabulary learning while playing Draw Something. The data is collected from players who are not native English speakers. Results show that 44 out of 52 (85%) players have learned new vocabulary by playing Draw Something. Players use a variety of strategies to learn the meaning of an unknown word; using a dictionary, using a translator, asking someone, and using cheating application developed for Draw Something. With some additions to strengthen the educational features; a vocabulary building game similar to Draw Something could be developed.

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

Modern Technology
1.
2. Technology is the making, modification, usage, and
knowledge of tools, machines,
techniques, crafts, systems, and methods of
organization, in order to solve a problem, improve a
pre-existing solution to a problem, achieve a goal,
handle an applied input/output relation or perform a
specific function. It can also refer to the collection of
such tools, including machinery, modifications,
arrangements and procedures.
Technologies significantly affect human as well as
other animal species' ability to control and adapt to
their natural environments. The term can either be
applied generally or to specific areas: examples
include construction technology, medical technology,
and information technology.
3. Technology can be viewed as an activity that forms or changes
culture. Additionally, technology is the application of math,
science, and the arts for the benefit of life as it is known. A
modern example is the rise of communication technology,
which has lessened barriers to human interaction and, as a
result, has helped spawn new subcultures; the rise of cyber
culture has, at its basis, the development of the Internet and
the computer. Not all technology enhances culture in a creative
way; technology can also help facilitate political oppression and
war via tools such as guns. As a cultural activity, technology
predates both science and engineering, each of which formalize
some aspects of technological endeavor.
Technology can be most broadly defined as the entities, both material and immaterial, created
by the application of mental and physical effort in order to achieve some value. In this usage,
technology refers to tools and machines that may be used to solve real-world problems. It is a
far-reaching term that may include simple tools, such as a crowbar or wooden spoon, or more
complex machines, such as a space station or particle accelerator. Tools and machines need
not be material; virtual technology, such as computer software and business methods, fall
under this definition of technology.
4.
5. Modern society has a staggering number of technological gizmos and mechanical
gadgets at its disposal, from airplanes to iPhones. However, while these
advancements have brought new aspects of health, freedom and enjoyment, there
are also disadvantages to a society so completely reliant upon them.
Today's youth is exposed to digital
technology to a degree previously
unseen. Modern technology can become
an invisible but integral part of their
lives. Since technological literacy is
almost a requirement for employment
these days, this digital lifestyle can be
often advantageous, but technology can
be a double-edged sword.
6. With the advancement in latest technology, we have
to face many disadvantages out of the benefit of
modern technology such as a stress factor, hectic life,
fear of nuclear war, cyber crime and high growth of
eye disease, increase of body weight and new
transportation technology which has brought
pollution and congestion in major cities. As we all
know that we have entered an era of new/ modern
technology world which is equipped with super
technology software through which we can work
without employing person power. On the other side,
a new technology invented by the scientists have
armed them with a technology which can destroys a
city in seconds with mere pushing of a button.
Similarly, the advance technology has created
thousand of cases of cyber crimes, cheating and
fraud which is making our life likes hell. Beside it is
driving our children towards the danger zone where
they are getting materials which are harmful for
them. But despite knowing the side affects of these
technologies, we are now making ourselves fully
dependant on it.
7.
8. WE HAVE STEPPED IN THE 21ST CENTURY AND THE WORLD
HAS GIVEN US SOME UNBELIEVABLE TECHNOLOGY THAT SOMETIME
ITSEEMS TO A DREAM.BUT WHEN WE LOOK AT THE BACKSIDEOF THE
LATEST TECHNOLOGY FOR OUR DESTRUCTION IF WRONGLYUSED BY
WRONG PEOPLE.
