Pressure Equalizing Tube – PE tube. A surgically
placed tube in a child's eardrum to aid with draining
fluid and equalizing the pressure.
Eye, ear, nose and throat – EENT
Bone Conduction – BC. The transmission of sound to
the inner ear through vibrations applied to the bones
of the skull.

Both Ears – AU
Otitis Media – OM. Common in children and is know as a
middle ear infection. Usually preceded by an upper
respiratory infection which moves from the pharynx to the
middle ear.
Emmetropia – EM. Refraction of the eye in which parallel
rays, when the eye is at rest, are focused exactly on the
retina.
Exotropia – XT. Type of strabismus in which the visual axes
diverge; may be paralytic or concomitant, monocular or
alternating, constant or intermittent.

Left Eye – OS
Extraocular movement – EOM. The movements that
they eye makes. Doctors make check your eye
movements if you have certain problems.
