Baron Pierre de Coubertin brought the ideas of the
ancient olympics and adapted them to the modern
world.He cared the idea of peaceful competion upon
nations.He also came up with the idea of the olympic
ring and Olympic torch as a symbol of the Olympics
with the peaceful competion.Also bring the idea of
modern sports to the competion.

He founded the Olympic committee which resulted in the 1st
Olympic games being held in 1896 in Athens, Greece
