• The term "bulldozer" correctly refers only to a
tractor fitted with a dozer blade.
• These are cheapest & First choice for excavating &
moving earth upto 100m.
• Cutting blade mounted Perpendicular to the
direction of Travel.
• And when cutting blades is set an angle with the
direction of travel called as angle dozers

Clearing the Sites.
Moving earth for short haul distance of about 100M.
The angle dozers used to push materials to side, left
or right.
Tree dozers used to unrooting the trees , shrubs etc.
Used to excavation upto a depth of 0.4m .

1. If it is mounted on crawler track, it is called
crawler-mounted power shovel.
2. If it is mounted on rubber tyred wheels it is
referred as wheel-mounted power shovel.
