attribute in Odoo defines the default sorting order
for records when retrieved from the database.

3. • This attribute is used to set a specific default sorting order food the
records when they are fetched from the database.
• It allow you to control the order in which they are displayed in the views
such as list or kanban
• Now lets see how this works in odoo.

4. • For seeing the result we need to install the module and then create some record in the
model.
• Here you can see the number of records are displayed in the basis of the Record ID .
• In order the default order is according to the record ID.

5. • Here we are going to change the record on the basics of number of passengers.
• For that Let’s set _order attribute

6. • Here i set the order attribute as no_of_passengers since i want to sort my record on the
basis of number of passengers.
• After making the changes let’s run the pycharm and refresh the UI.

7. • Here we can see that the record has been changed according to the number of passengers.
• So this is how the order works and it is the difference between with order and without
order.
• Initially this is the ascending order.By default it is ascending.
• If you want dissenting, add the keyword desc
_order = “no_of_passengers desc”
