It is also growing rapidly, adding the equivalent of 3 new users per second. In 2007, the SMS revenue from the mobile industry was $100 billion, exceeding the combined revenues of movie box offices, DVD sales, music industry, and video games. Mobile allows users to access the internet and applications from anywhere via wireless transmission over radio waves.
