Mobile technology such as iPads, iPods, and MacBooks are increasingly being used in Casllwchwr Primary School. The school has a bank of over 30 iPads and iPods that teachers, teaching assistants, and pupils access for a variety of educational purposes. Mobile devices are helping to make group work easier, engage students in reading and writing, and allow for more flexible learning. Teachers are also using apps and the multi-functionality of iPads to enhance art, music, and other lessons. Some schools are finding that iPads can be particularly engaging for boys, who may be less interested in traditional teaching methods. The innovative use of technology at Casllwchwr Primary School

The Fishguard Primary School, Ysgol Glannau Gwaun, believes it’s been
worth the effort and expense, with some of the “more challenging” boys
taking to the technology and enjoying the experience of teaching younger
