This is a presentation I created to communicate simple steps for creating a digital story. It also links to a googlesite I created that has more resources. I created this for a group of undergraduate students at UMaine who were going on a community service project and were assigned a digital storytelling project to communicate their experience working and living on a remote island in Maine for a week.

Prezi is a cloud-based presentation software that allows users to explore ideas on a zoomable canvas to create visually engaging presentations. Glogster EDU Premium is an online collaborative learning platform for teachers and students to express creativity, knowledge, ideas, and skills. Evernote allows users to capture anything, save ideas and things they see or hear across nearly any device and search by keyword, tag or text in images. Wikispaces allows one-click editing of wiki pages in the browser with tools to add images, embed media, and format pages while saving every revision. Animoto turns photos, videos, and music into stunning videos to share easily and freely.
