Establishing the New National Cancer Institute (500500) in Sheikh Zayed City
on a surface area of 145,000 m² is expected to achieve maximum benefit for
Egyptian cancer patients at all ages and social backgrounds.
The project is planned according to the most recent standards in terms of patient
care, scientific, and engineering specifications, as well as full compliance with
the highest level of savings in the use of various energy sources (LEED & Green
Pyramid Specs) together with the usage of solar energy as possible, and
conservation of the surrounding environment.
The Project’s phase one is divided into 5 main buildings in addition to ramps,
bridges and road services.
Responsible for :
• Designing and modeling slabs, stairs, shear walls, columns and foundations of
two buildings and developing structural drawings
• Coordinating with other disciplines in one of the main buildings regarding
Cladding installation, road services, MEP equipment accessibility.
• Assuring no conflict between Disciplines’ models using either Revit or
Navisworks and providing clash detection reports and updating models after
coordination meetings.

Hyde Park Business District serves as a focal point that links between New Cairo
and the city’s New Administrative Capital: The Capital Cairo. The project
spreads over 116,000 m² with a total built-up area (BUA) sums up to 191,275 m2
and consists of 22 office buildings diverse into three distinct building types (A, B
& C), a head quarter, and a conference center of about 21.5m height (G+5) with
1 underground basement, as well as a mosque and a plaza that spans the entire
complex area. Reinforced concrete will be used to form the structural frame of
the buildings.
Responsible for:
• Designing and modeling slabs, stairs and columns of some of the master plan
parts, design and developing structural drawings for one building of the 3
types (7-story building).
• Coordinating with other disciplines regarding Cladding installation, parking
accessibility and driveway maneuvers.
• Preparing reports, material take-off, quantity surveying and working on
enabling and shoring drawings required for excavation including retaining
wall design.
