The document summarizes the traits and personality of an individual named Robby Griffin. It describes his positive traits which include a good sense of humor, strong desire to excel, and being a leader in activities. It also outlines his negative traits such as becoming a pest and losing other students. The document then discusses Robby's ENTP learning style and classification as an "Orange" doer, indicating he is courageous, action-oriented, and a natural leader who thrives under pressure. The document presents on the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) which describes key elements of an effective software process. There are 5 levels of the CMM - Initial, Repeatable, Defined, Managed, and Optimizing - with each level building upon the previous. The Defined level standardizes processes across projects, and the Managed level introduces detailed measurements and process control. Finally, the Optimizing level focuses on continuous process improvement using data on process effectiveness. Some problems with CMM are that it is a goal not a method, can be used just for approval stamps, and does not

We took a plane trip to Santa Marta, Colombia with my girlfriend to visit the coast and sea. We arrived at our hotel in Santa Marta in the evening and had fish and fruit juice for dinner before dancing at a local club. The next day, we went to White Beach to learn scuba diving and see many fish. After returning to Bogota, we then traveled to Cocuy, Boyaca to visit my aunt and ride around the village with my girlfriend, seeing the church and landscapes. Our final day was spent at Nevado del Cocuy where we saw diverse scenery and lakes before happily returning home the following week.

— Understand why donors give
— Find out what you must include in your appeals to inspire giving
— Learn how to apply the messaging formula for fundraising appeals
This document provides an overview of major gift fundraising from the donor's perspective. It discusses engaging donors through understanding their lives, finding ways for them to be involved, calculating engagement levels, using donor data intelligently, asking donors at the right time and in the right way, and focusing on building long-term donor relationships and legacies. The presentation emphasizes personalizing communications, keeping the donor as the central focus, and striving for continuous self-improvement in fundraising practices.
(1) Donor retention rates are plummeting, with current data showing that over 60% of donors from the previous year do not donate again. (2) Improving donor retention rates by just 10% can increase the lifetime value or total lifetime donations from donors by 150-200%. (3) The two key factors that influence donor retention are donor satisfaction, commitment and trust, which are impacted by donor communications and engagement. (4) Donor communications best practices include timely thank you's, personalized outreach, reporting on impact and involving human connections to nurture the donor relationship.
Stammer Stutter Pause: How to Start the Planned Giving ConversationKatherine Swank
Planned gifts have often been thought of as the private purview of credentialed development, legal, and financial professionals. With terms like “present value methodology,” “four-tier system of taxation,” and “current IRS-mandated discount rate,” it’s no wonder why many of us feel this way and hesitate to enter into discussions about planned gifts. Studies and talks with donors, however, remind us that the tax benefits of making planned gifts are not the primary reason they are made. Donors want to make a difference in the world they live in, both now and in the future. Conversations about planned gifts are easy if you understand human nature and understand the basics of carrying on a conversation. Throw out the law school admissions form on your desk and learn to talk with donors about their dreams and wishes for your organization with ease!

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
