My country is Qatar,I chose it because
I’m from there. I want to learn about
Qatar’s geography and it’s economy. I
already know a lot about Qatar but I want to
know more. I think studying about Qatar will
be a lot of fun!

3. Geography
Qatar is a small country in the Middle
East, that is ruled by a leader called emir
sheik Tamin Hamad Al Thani .It’s capital is
Doha.
Qatar is a small peninsula on the east
coast of Saudi Arabia and on the
north,east,and west there is Bahrain and the
Persian Gulf.

4. Climate
The weather in the summer is very hot
and ,mostly warm the rest of the year. It
doesn’t rain too much and it never snows
because Qatar is a desert. That is also why
there is little need for coats and gloves.

5. Culture
In Qatar Tabbouleh can a main or
side dish , it is a simple recipe that
doesn't take a lot of time to prepare .
If there is one thing that rules
Qatar it is their belief in Islam,93
percent of the people living in Qatar
are Muslim.

6. Economy
At one time the
economy of Qatar
could be summed
up in a single word :
pearls when that
period of wealth
ended many Qataris
wondered what was
going to be next?
They thought the
answer was
hunger, poverty
,and diseases .
When the solution
finally came
, around it was two
words : gas and oil.

7. Conclusion
Qatar is an Amazing country. It’s really
interesting and fun! I feel that I learned a lot
. I learned that people from Qatar can go to
London without a visa , and that some
people dive in the sea more than 30 times a
day to get oyster shells without eating , or
drinking anything at all. I still want to learn
about the history of Qatar and more things
too. This was very fun! (:
