Migration is the displacement of a population from their place of origin to another destination which results in a change of their habitual residence. The main causes of migration include a lack of work and resources, insecurity, bad life conditions, economic crisis, and war. The consequences of migration include overpopulation, violations of laws if passed illegally, racism, social injustice, adaptation problems, deportations, and criminal offenses.
