• Children may be very fidgety.
 Distinguish differences between private and public life
 Understanding of reason/consequence.
 Makes and carries out plans.
 Can use models, graphs, and symbols to solve problems.
• shows interest in reading fictional stories, magazines,and
how-to project books.
• develop special interest in collections or hobbies.
• fantasizes and daydreams about the future
• Developing games with complex rules
• May belittle or defy adult authority
• Enjoys being a member of a club
• Children spend more time with friends
• Tends to see things as right or wrong
• Gang spirit and influence strong

Children motor skills become smoother and more coordinated than in early
