1. Michelle Hargrove
Michelle E. Hargrove is a powerhouse in the fields of public
speaking, women’s empowerment and event planning. She
currently serves as the visionary and CEO of M. Hargrove
Events and VC Legacy Foundation Inc. Her event planning
expertise ranges from wedding services to awards programs
to gala productions. She has become best known both
nationally and internationally for the annual event she founded in 2007, Restoration
Weekend, a one-of-a-kind 4-day, 3 night luxury weekend of serenity, reconnection,
and personal revival for women who need to “restore” themselves from the many hats
they wear as busy wives, mothers, caregivers and career women.
Prior to starting Restoration Weekend, Michelle honed her leadership skills as an event
producer for T.D. Jakes’ inspirational family festival, MegaFest, in 2005 and 2006. She
also served as the East Coast Marketing Coordinator for the big screen film, Woman
Thou Art Loosed.
A highly sought after public speaker, Michelle has served as the keynote speaker or
panelist at many major conferences and events, including the Inaugural BOSS Network
Awards in Washington, D.C.
Michelle has been honored with many prestigious awards for her commitment to
excellence and community leadership, including the New York Influencer Award from
the Boss Network, March of Dimes Christian Women's Leadership Award and the
Leadership Award for Philanthropy from the Rotary Club in Los Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
for the Restoring Hope Project.
Michelle has been featured for her work in multiple media outlets including, Heart
and Soul, UPSCALE, Essence.com, The BOSS Network, Cabo News Today and
PowerMommyNation.com. Michelle has also been a speaker at Radio One's Women's
Empowerment in Raleigh, NC; and in August 2015 Michelle will also speak at Bishop TD
Jakes Mega-Fest in Dallas, Texas.
Michelle is committed to serving the community and has worked tirelessly as a
national volunteer for March of Dimes. Her family served as the Ambassador Family
for the New York and New Jersey chapters to raise awareness of the effects of
prematurity, particularly in the African American community.
Described as self-less by industry peers, Michelle’s personal characteristics blossom
with noticeable faith and strength and shine through in every speech and every event
she creates. Michelle is dedicated to producing flawless events through her vivid
imagination, creativity and her commitment to her community that will uplift and

Michelle has recently relocated to Houston,Texas with her family.
