EXPERIENCE
2010 - current — Owner, Williams Creative Group, Inc.
Hired to consult, create, and/or manage various aspects of our clients’ projects or careers,
whether that means strategizing marketing campaigns, creating compelling content, engaging
partnerships, artist management, coordinating event sponsorships, or managing projects.
Clients include Ingenuity Associates, Buzzplant Marketing, Ben Shive, Camp Electric, Ivory
West, and Sonic Tremor.
2014 - 2015 — Director of Marketing & Development, Still Creek Ranch
Hired to create Still Creek Ranch’s first revenue generating marketing program. Was
responsible for the entire re-branding of the ranch, creating three new websites, several
brochures, and a monthly newsletter. Created and developed an artist advocate program
along with a new recurring donor program that gave stability and predictability to donor giving.
2004 - 2014 — Event Manager/Independent Consultant, Compassion International
In charge of all things related to Compassion International for a variety of events, including all
Extraordinary Women conferences. Responsibilities include coordination with event leadership
and staff, participating in pre-event coordinating meetings, training volunteers on site, public
speaking of behalf of the organization, booth set up and tear-down, and end-of-event
reporting to the Compassion marketing department.
2007 - current — Contract writer, Lifeway Christian Resources, Nashville, TN
Write a variety of articles and reviews for two of Lifeway’s monthly magazines, Essential
Connection and Living With Teenagers. Also co-authored the small group discussion guide
Finding the Larger Story Through Music for Serendipity House, a Lifeway imprint.
2003 - 2005 — Staff Copywriter, Sonik New Media, Irvine, CA
Wrote a variety of copy for several web sites including JD Power and Associates, Res-Q
supplements, The Grocery Game, and others. Included, but not limited to, product
descriptions, FAQs, “How-to’s,” and site guidelines.
2. 1993 - 1995 — Editor, Moore Educational Publishers, Nashville, TN
Created and published the monthly client newsletter, The MEP Report. Managed all layout,
design, and writing of all marketing materials, including direct mail collateral, conference
brochures, and print advertising. Also did layout and copy editing for several proprietary CLEP
exam study guides.
1995 - 2010 — Professional Musician
Toured the world with a variety of artists. Touring included travel to all 50 states, all Canadian
provinces, and countries in Europe, Africa, Central and South America.
• 1994-2000 Owner and member of Grammy and Dove-nominated Big Tent Revival. Oversaw
tour budgets, hiring crew, hiring merchandise designers, photographers, caterers,
videographers, etc. • 2004-2010 Band leader/Music director, Jeremy Camp. In charge of all
auditioning and hiring of band members, organizing rehearsals, charts/music arrangement,
maintaining product endorsement relationships, meetings with management and record label,
and recording schedules.

The Way Back Home, and Randall Goodgame’s Slugs and Bugs.

I’m a natural dot-connector and I take pride in the relationships I’ve built in the creative
business community in Nashville, Franklin, and Los Angeles. I love assembling teams and strive
to inspire individuals to perform their best for the greater good of the organization. I’m
completely comfortable with public speaking and managing group dynamics and interaction. I
have an ever-growing understanding and knowledge of all social media, WordPress blogs, MS
Office, recording and media software (ProTools, Logic, Reason, iMovie) and a general, (not
expert) knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
