The document discusses Michael Cremo's book "Human Devolution" which presents an alternative view to Darwinian evolution by proposing that humans are composed of matter, mind and consciousness. It summarizes chapters that provide evidence from archaeology, genetics, biology and paranormal research contradicting mainstream views of human origins and supporting the existence of mind and consciousness apart from the physical body.

In today's rapidly advancing scientific culture, what is answer to the ultimate question of where we come from? Where does the scientific evidence point to?
Is it more reasonable to believe in Darwinism (that all life arose spontaneously from non-living chemicals and has progressively mutated and evolved into highly complex biological structures today) or in Design (that biological life bears the hallmarks of intelligence: specificity, improbability, and information)?

This presentation presents a biologically-based theory of knowledge and life explaining the similarities between evolution by natural selection and the scientific methodology. The theory is based on Karl Popper's evolutionary epistemology in the context of Humberto Maturana and Francisco Varela's autopoietic theory of life. The theory is applied to understanding the past evolution of humans to an attempt to understand our future evolution.

Feyerabend, Pluralism and Progress in Science in Against Method 1993 and the ...ijtsrd
The epistemological problem associated with Karl Paul Feyerabend as a philosopher of Science resides beneath the fact that different critics of his works give divers interpretations of them. His works and the accounts they present have no common structure. This plurality and conflictual interpretations of him makes it difficult, if not impossible to pin him to a particular tradition in the Philosophy of Science. For this reason, while some of his critics consider him to be a relativist, to some, he is a Dadaist, a confusionist and an anarchist, yet others think of Feyerabend as the worst enemy of Science. This diversity of interpretation of Feyerabend, in my opinion, only goes to reassure us of our reading of him. That is, Feyerabend is closely associated with pluralism than anything else. My aim, in this paper is thus propose a thesis and attempt a justification. The thesis is that my reading of Against Method, 1993 and The Tyranny of Science, 2011 , justifies the thesis above. This perspective, unlike the others, is more holistic and inclusive. Without agreeing with his poists about science and its method, I contend that his pluralist claims in the philosophy of science art not hard to find. My examples stem, first, from the diversity of interpretations, and the conflicting views of his critics. Second, I consider the titles of the two works under consideration, to illustrate his criticism of the scientism and Methodism of Modern Science on the one hand, and his defence of plurality of methods and theories. Finally, I conclude that contrarily to critics who label him the worst enemy of science, anarchist or a confusionist, I think that, Feyerabend exaggerated his criticism of Modern Science and his defence of pluralism when he claimed to see no difference between science, myths and religion. However, I go further to contend that this comparison does not eclipse his pluralist position. It rather exaggerates it. That is why I term him, an extreme pluralist to say the least. Religion and medicine have historically gone hand in hand, but increasingly have come into conflict in the U.S. as health care has become both more secular and more heavily regulated. Law has a dual role here, simultaneously generating conflict between religion and health care, for example through new coverage mandates or legally permissible medical interventions that violate religious norms, while also acting as a tool for religious accommodation and protection of conscience.
This conference identified the various ways in which law intersects with religion and health care in the United States, examined the role of law in creating or mediating conflict between religion and health care, and explored potential legal solutions to allow religion and health care to simultaneously flourish in a culturally diverse nation.
From Theory of Evolution to a New Theory of CreationRemy Taupier
There has not been found even one transitional fossil giving credit to the Theory of Evolution. Mistakingly, The laws of Natural Selection can explain the adaptation of species but it has never been observed any transitional species. Adaptation is NOT evolution. The Theory of Evolution is only an hypothesis, an idea but nothing support this theory.
One line of escape from the maze of blind alleys is of particular relevance to our theme: a phenomenon which goes under the name of 'paedomorphosis'. It was described by Garstang in the 1920s, and taken up by several biologists; but although the existence of the phenomenon is generally accepted, it made little impact on the orthodox theory and is rarely mentioned in the textbooks. It indicates that at certain critical stages evolution can retrace its steps, as it were, along the path which led to the dead end and make a fresh start in a new, more promising direction. The crucial event in this process is the appearance at the foetal, larval or juvenile stage of some useful evolutionary novelty which is carried over into the adult stage of the organism's progeny.
Now this lowering of the age of sexual maturity is a well-known evolutionary phenomenon called neoteny. It has two aspects: the animal starts to breed while still in a larval or juvenile stage; and it never reaches the fully adult stage, which is dropped off - eliminated from its life cycle ('terminal abbreviation').
Sir Gavin de Beer compared the process to the re-winding of a biological clock when evolution is in danger of running down and coming to a standstill: 'A race may become rejuvenated by pushing the adult stage of its individuals off from the end of their ontogenies, and such a race may then radiate out in all directions.'
Paedomorphosis - or juvenilization - thus appears to play an important part in the grand strategy of evolution. It involves a retreat from specialized adult forms to earlier, less committed and more plastic stages in the development of organisms - followed by a sudden advance in a new direction. It is as if the stream of life had momentarily reversed its course, flowing uphill for a while towards its original source; then opened up a new stream-bed - leaving the koala bear stranded on his tree like a discarded hypothesis. In other words, we are faced here with the same pattern of reculer pour mieux sauter, 'step back to leap', which we have encountered at the critical turning points in the evolution of science and art. Biological evolution is to a large extent a history of escapes from the blind alleys of over-specialization, the evolution of ideas a series of escapes from the tyranny of mental habits and stagnant routines. In biological evolution the escape is brought about by a retreat from the adult to a juvenile stage as the starting-point for the new line; in mental evolution by a temporary regression to more primitive and uninhibited modes of ideation, followed by the creative forward leap (the equivalent of a sudden burst of 'adaptive radiation'). Thus these two types of progress - the emergence of evolutionary novelties and the creation of cultural novelties reflect the same undoing-redoing pattern and appear as analogous processes on different levels.

And his ideas have promoted racism and white supremacy more than any other single person worldwide for the past 150 years! Darwin needs to be Dethroned in our scientific and educational systems.

There is so much evidence to challenge Darwin's Theory of how the many species of life developed on earth but here are my three favorites so far. The strongest challenge is one I am learning about now from molecular biology. Stephen Meyer's book , Signature in the Cell, is a powerful refutation of evolution's claims of random mutations directed by natural selection as the primary cause of biodiversity.

The Future Can Differ From The Past
This is a book of tall claims about evolution: that it can become uncontroversial;
that the basic principles are easy to learn; that everyone should want to learn them, once
their implications are understood; that evolution and religion, those old enemies who
currently occupy opposite corners of human thought, can be brought harmoniously
together.
Can these claims possibly be true? Isn’t evolution the most controversial theory
the world has ever seen? Since it’s a scientific subject, isn’t it hard to learn? If the
implications are benign, then why all the fear and trembling? And how on earth can the
old enemies of evolution and religion do anyth ...

How to be a modern yogi - For Yoga teachers and Yoga students and Yoga lovers.Atma yoga
Following our 4 part series on yoga through history, we come now to the point of learning what it means to be a Modern day Yogi.
A Modern Yogi is someone who:
- believes in the power of virtue (Dharma) to shift consciousness.
- thinks the happiness you seek will be found in the happiness you create for others.
- feels acts of kindness and courage triumph over self-preservation.
- knows that what we do is more important than what we think.
- is not into short cuts, but is definitely into efficiency.
- is not the body, not the mind, and not any of the roles we play.
- is a Spirit-Soul who knows everything here is play and the art of service.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
