2. Magnetic Field Effective Driven
catalysis1
1 - Catalysis is the increase in the rate of a chemical
reaction due to the participation of an additional
substance called a catalyst. With a catalyst, reactions
occur faster and with less energy, because catalysts are
not consumed, they are recycled.
3. Patent, #8,714,967, issued May 6, 2014 by USPTO.
High Flow-Rate System.
MFED system has no power requirements for operations.
MFED system has no moving parts.
MFED system does not use any chemicals and has no harmful by-
products.
More energy efficient because of superior flocculation2.
2 – Flocculation: The separation of a solution, most commonly, the removal of a sediment from a fluid.
4. Changes the Geometrical Shape of Molecular
Structures of fluids and materials.
Based on Magnetic Hydrodynamic Principles that
Michael Faraday experimented with in 1839.
MFED breaks down materials at a molecular level.
Molecular Sciences technology.
Catalysis process breaks apart carbon/carbon bonds.
Based on MHD magnetic hydrodynamics.
Fuel Efficiency increases have been proven up to 14%
5. Unique magnetic flux (“UMF”) is applied to hydrocarbon-based fuel pre-consumption.
UMF provides inter-molecular excitation promoting molecular spin and vibration of the
hydrocarbon molecule.
UMF creates intra-molecular stresses that weaken covalent C-H and C-C bonds in alkane
fuels and enhances reaction rate similar to a catalytic effect.
Increased collision frequency promotes the combustion reaction and pushes it closer to
perfect conditions.
In essence, the MFED® enhances the ability of fuel to react with combustion air to
improve combustion kinetics to enable the release of more heat from a given amount of
fuel.
8. Water Treatment
Benefits:
Recycling Vs. Disposal.
Operating Cost Reduction.
Production of recycled water for the following approved beneficial re-use:
o Well stimulation fluids
o Spray irrigation
o Sub-surface irrigation
Improves water purity to a quality standard suitable for land irrigation as well as fracking
operations.
Byproduct created during the process is non-toxic and can be used to produce fertilizer.
9. Analogy
When experimenting with two magnets. Point the North pole of one
magnet toward the South pole of the other magnet. They will attract.
Opposite poles will repel.
In basic terms, if you run foul water through two opposing magnets, the
molecules in the water will explode and separate. Thus, the clean water
goes to storage tanks and the solids, composed of mineral oxides, flow to
the disposal storage tanks.

15. The Problem
As oil enters the pipeline, it encounters various problems
such as cooling of the fluid, thus increasing the viscosity
and slowing the flow, and turbulent flow.
With longer distances and colder environments, the
problem becomes exacerbated.
16. Less buildup of wax and/or solids.
Reducing the crude viscosity for improved faster flow.
Units are all 150 psi flange rated and have been tested and
certified with the paperwork for hydro testing and
welding procedures.
17. Lowering the viscosity of crude oil is important in the oil industry. It is especially
important for transporting oil via pipelines. As more and more heavy crude oil is
produced, a reliable technology to lower crude oil’s viscosity becomes urgent.
MFED’s application of a suitable magnetic field pulse can significantly reduce the
viscosity of crude oil for several hours. Whether for paraffin-base crude oil or for
asphalt-base crude oil or mixed-base crude oil.
This viscosity reduction method does not change the temperature of the crude oil;
instead, it temporarily aggregates paraffin particles or asphaltene particles inside
the crude oil into large ones. The particle aggregation changes the rheological
property of the crude oil and leads to the viscosity reduction. While this viscosity
reduction is not permanent, it lasts for several hours and is repeatable.
18. One well-known approach to improving the flow is to
use a polymer to improve the flow characteristics.
However, these DRA polymers are very expensive.
The MFED will accomplish the increased flow of the
crude product by reducing the molecular weight of the
flowing crude product without the introduction of
chemicals or polymers, thus being safer for personnel
and operations.
19. Reduces the viscosity of the crude for improved, faster flow.
Requires no chemicals or additives.
Eliminates the need for pigging operations.
More up-time of the pipeline infrastructure.
Faster Transporting of the product to final destination.
MFED system is installed directly in-line with the pipeline.
