Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. 4. Changing from One Metric unit to Another
Conversion within the metric system is simple to do.The steps are as follows:
1. Make a chart of the different prefixes, from highest to lowest.
2. Locate the unit you are converting and the unit you want to convert.
3. Move the decimal point of the number part of the measurement to the same
number of decimal places that you have counted. The direction of movement
of the decimal point is based on the direction of the movement from the
starting unit to the end.
Moving the decimal point to the left or to the right is equivalent to multiplying
or dividing by a power of ten.
