METHODS
• The subject matter
• Instructional objectives
• The learner
• The teacher
• The time
• Instructional materials

WAY FORWARD
• Teachers should know the subject matter to be taught in
order to determine the most suitable teaching
method/methods to use.
• The instructional objectives to be achieve by the end of
the lesson determine the choice of teaching methods.
• The teacher must be very familiar with the teaching
methods he/she wants to use and be convinced they are
the most appropriate for that lesson.
WAY FORWARD CONT…
• The teacher must consider the age, interest, etc of
the learner and ensure that all learners will benefit.
• The teacher must consider time in relation to the
methods chosen.
• The teacher should consider the environment and
the size of the class in settling for methods to
employ.

WAY FORWARD • Teachers should know the subject matter to be taught in order to determine the most suitable teaching method/methods to use. • The instructional objectives to be achieve by the end of the lesson determine the choice of teaching methods. • The teacher must be very familiar with the teaching methods he/she wants to use and be convinced they are the most appropriate for that lesson.

WAY FORWARD CONT… • The teacher must consider the age, interest, etc of the learner and ensure that all learners will benefit. • The teacher must consider time in relation to the methods chosen. • The teacher should consider the environment and the size of the class in settling for methods to employ.
