This document discusses methods for measuring team situation awareness. It describes situation awareness and how it applies to teams. Team situation awareness involves a partially shared mental model between team members that is integrated to anticipate future status. Two methods are described: Coordinated Awareness of Situation by Teams (CAST), which observes team communication during glitches, and Questionnaires for Distributed Assessment of Team Mutual Awareness (QDATMA), which asks individuals to rate their own and others' awareness of tasks, workload, and teamwork. Both methods have advantages and limitations regarding validity, reliability, and ability to capture implicit coordination. More validation studies are needed to evaluate team situation awareness measurement methods.

Methodological Design: Phenomenology
Research Question: What is the experience of “burnout” among direct support professionals (DSPs)?
Data Analysis Elements: Qualitative analysis is driven by guidance but does not have a strict formula regarding how data is synthesized into results (Patton, 2015). Vast amounts of data, like what would be collected by asking questions of 15 DSPs needs to be appropriately considered and filtered into what is significant to identify patterns (Patton, 2015). This process does not have a way to test its validity, instead the responsibility is on the researcher to fairly and thoroughly consider the data they have collected (Patton, 2015). This is especially important in phenomenology as the purpose is to come to commonalities while maintaining separation from the views of the group (Creswell & Poth, 2018).
Data Analysis for this Study: Once my data is organized, I will use the data analysis spiral method to begin reading and memoing to become familiar with the details of the narratives (Creswell & Poth, 2018). Rapid reading is one way to review notes from a perspective other than the author's and to not dwell on a more intricate step like coding (Creswell & Poth, 2018). After reviewing the answers to the questions regarding burnout, I can develop a coding system to identify themes and categories that I will be compiling across responses (Creswell & Poth, 2018). Beginning with a shortlist of codes (beginning with around 6 and expanding to no more than 20 or 30) makes thematic generation clearer later on (Creswell & Poth, 2018). Moustakas recommends for phenomenological research that these significant statements should be non-overlapping and used to craft descriptions of “what” and “how” (Creswell & Poth, 2018). The codebook and results then lead to interpretation, creation of a table, and in the case of phenomenology the generation of the final composite description of the experience that is being studied (Creswell & Poth, 2018).
Strengths and Limitations: Strong qualitative analyses include the collection of data that is organized and purpose-driven (Patton, 2015). development of several small groups into high-functioning teams. She was recently asked
to form a new group that will create a marketing campaign for a struggling product
line. Although past experience tells Tai that this will likely call for a team, she begins the
team-building process by first confirming that a team best suits the project’s complexity.
Once she does so, Tai determines that the structural parameters surrounding the team’s
project, and the essential nature of what it is expected to do, call for a design team in
which members with problem-solving experience and skills are particularly desirable. Tai
meets with potential team leaders, both in-house and out-house, to discuss the resources
they will need. They conclude that understanding and addressing the issues surrounding
the product’s current market struggles will require the team to coordinate and exchange
information with a knowledgeable individual or group within the client organization.
They discuss potential team leader and member combinations that can skillfully accom-
plish this.
The challenge is to keep the team small but represent enough KSA combinations so as to
support an effective solution. Tai likes to keep teams as small as possible because she’s

line. Although past experience tells Tai that this will likely call for a team, she begins the
team-building process by first confirming that a team best suits the project’s complexity.
Once she does so, Tai determines that the structural parameters surrounding the team’s
project, and the essential nature of what it is expected to do, call for a design team in
which members with problem-solving experience and skills are particularly desirable. Tai
meets with potential team leaders, both in-house and out-house, to discuss the resources
they will need. They conclude that understanding and addressing the issues surrounding
the product’s current market struggles will require the team to coordinate and exchange
information with a knowledgeable individual or group within the client organization.
They discuss potential team leader and member combinations that can skillfully accom-
plish this.
The challenge is to keep the team small but represent enough KSA combinations so as to
support an effective solution. Tai likes to keep teams as small as possible because she’s

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.
