The trakrat® rail trolleys are an ideal solution for
transporting material, tools and equipment on rail
tracks. The range consists of the LT1250A and
LT1500A which are available in a variety of gauges.
The trakrat® is a unique, manually operated modular
maintenance trolley which comprises of 3 main
components, 1 aluminium deck and 2 aluminium
bogies accompanied by 1 brake handle and
1 push bar.
The modular lightweight design enables the trakrat®
trolleys to be assembled and dismantled quickly
and efficiently on and off track. The decks can be
transported by 2 men whereas the bogies are a
single person lift.
The trakrat® bogies are fitted with a failsafe disc
braking mechanism whereby the brake callipers
are applied until the operator engages to release.
This enclosed disc braking configuration improves
performance, reliability and in the long term reduces
the amount of wheel damage and degradation
ensuring less time in maintenance.
