It discusses developments from past dynasties like the Tang and Song dynasties to modern China. Key changes include a shift from traditional to simplified Chinese characters, economic growth tied to agriculture and trade, and transitioning from dynastic rule to a modern republican government with some democratic processes. Religions have also diversified compared to the past emphasis on Confucianism, Buddhism and Daoism.
This document discusses various landscape scenes including a sunset, snowy mountain, park, waterfall, horses on a mountain, moon, and desert. It seems to be introducing a product related to landscape photography by listing some scenic features and natural landscapes that could be captured with the product. The key details provided are different outdoor scenes from nature that the product aims to help photograph.

Nanosatellite industry overview updated aug 2015Meidad Pariente
This document provides an overview of the nanosatellite industry as of August 2015. It discusses trends in the industry including increasing commercialization, larger constellations, improved technologies for earth imaging, communications, and propulsion. While nanosatellites were once primarily educational projects, the document notes that commercial companies now contribute over 25% of nanosatellites launched annually and are expected to dominate the market going forward. The success rate of nanosatellite missions has also increased to over 90% in recent years.
This document provides an overview of satellite command systems and discusses potential hostile takeover attempts. It contains the following key points:
1) Satellite command systems allow ground operators to send predefined radio signals to control satellite functions like power management, attitude control, and deploying components. Commands are transmitted via S-band, C-band, or Ku-band frequencies.
2) Taking control of a satellite remotely would require the ability to transmit authorized commands to override its normal command verification processes. This could be done by decoding its telemetry to spoof timing, addressing, and command contexts.
3) The document discusses some potential vulnerabilities in satellite command systems and debates whether commercial encryption and isolated ground networks provide sufficient protection against hostile take

Reported speech is used to report what someone said without using their exact words. Pronouns and verbs change to reflect that the statement is no longer being quoted directly. For example, changing "He said, 'I can't fix it myself'" to "He said he couldn't fix it himself." Questions, commands, and other speech are also adjusted when reported, such as changing a question's word order and removing the question mark. Verb tenses may change depending on the reporting verb.

Space debris poses threats from Earth to space, space to space, and space to earth. Current systems track but do not prevent collisions, and accidents have occurred. The issue risks a cascade effect that increases debris. Both the US and Europe recognize the need for space situational awareness to support space operations, but the US focuses more on strategic capabilities while Europe emphasizes open access. Active measures are needed now to address the problem before it worsens further.
The document provides an overview of trends in the nanosatellite industry as of October 2013. It discusses how nanosatellites are categorized based on weight, trends of increasing users from educational to commercial applications, enabling technologies like improved communications and attitude determination and control systems, and debunks myths about nanosatellite reliability compared to facts about operational lifetimes of over 10 years for some nanosatellites.
PACECIALIST is an Israeli consulting company specializing in aerospace systems and missions. It was founded in 2011 and is led by CEO Meidad Pariente and COO Maya Glickman, both experienced aerospace engineers. PACECIALIST provides systems engineering, software solutions using STK, and promotes international initiatives. Its goals are to support the commercial space industry in Israel and conduct innovative studies impacting the global space sector.
The document discusses several myths and facts regarding nanosatellite reliability. The myths are that nanosatellites have low reliability at less than 50% success rates, components are unreliable and cause failures, and nanosatellites do not last long in space. However, the facts provided show the success rate of nanosatellites in the last five years is about 80%, components themselves are reliable with the main issues stemming from poor workmanship, and there are nanosatellites still operational from as far back as 2003, with average mission lifetimes of around 40 months. The document concludes that following proven methodologies, especially during assembly, integration and testing, is important for nanosatellite reliability and success.
Space debris poses threats from Earth to space, space to space, and space to Earth. The density of objects in low Earth orbit is high enough that collisions could trigger a cascade effect where each collision generates more debris, increasing the likelihood of further collisions. While most debris reenters Earth's atmosphere over ocean, statistics indicate around 40% could reenter over land, posing impact risks. Active measures are needed now to address the growing problem of space debris before incidents and impacts increase further.

1. Volem alumnes competents per
conviure i habitar un món digitalitzat.
Seminari Coneixement del Medi Natural Social i Cultural, Recursos TICC
●
i Competència Digital
Toni Casserras , Artés 11 de maig de 2009
Hem vist quins recursos TICC ens ajudaran a assolir-ho.
●
●
rades, riques i variades.
Aprofitament màxim dels recursos locals (entorns, instituci-
●
ons, serveis...).
5. Reptes, dificultats, oportunitats, esperances..
6. I les TICC? Bé, gràcies!
Blocs, Moodles, wikis, fòrums, àlbums,.. perquè els alumnes dis-
●
●
línia,... com a fonts d'informació
MiniUnitats Didàctiques, petits programes, simuladors o
●
jocs com a recursos complementaris.
7. Hem començat un camí...
Hem estat capaços de pujar el Collbaix. Qui s'hi
●
apunta? Potser arribarem al Matagalls... o a l'E-
verest!
