This document discusses an educational presentation on exploring learning experiences that promote safe patient care, satisfaction, and rewarding careers through the use of "Medical Improv". The presentation introduces an expert panel and provides evidence that improving soft skills like communication, collaboration and leadership through improvisation techniques can help address challenges in healthcare like medical errors, complaints, staff stress and turnover. It is suggested that problems with soft skills contribute to safety issues and workforce problems. The panel will demonstrate Medical Improv classroom activities and discuss how healthcare organizations can pilot these programs.
