Millennials and the use of social networking sites as a job searching tooljournalBEEI
This research is conducted to examine the factors that influence the behavioural intention of millienials in using SNS when seeking for a job. The data was collected from respondents who are from the generation Y demographic and actively looking for jobs. The respondents must possess some experience in using SNS when job hunting. The data was then gathered and analyzed using partial least square (PLS) which encompasses the measurement and structural models of the study. The findings revealed that three of the constructs as applied in TAM are statistically significant to behavioural intention. The three factors that influenced the job seekers’ intention to use SNSs as a job search tool are; perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and privacy concerns. All these factors are elements which contribute to and have a significant relationship with job seekers’ intention to use SNSs, as verified using PLS data analysis. The recruiters or employers who intend to adopt SNSs in the recruitment process are advised to design the recruitment plan regarding the utilization of SNSs to be more convenient and user-friendly. This study provides insight and knowledge regarding the impact of technology in online job application and hiring processes.

A Study On The Relationship Between Corporate Reputation And Customer Loyalty...inventionjournals
In recent years, the concept of reputation has proven to be one of the major innovative trends in corporate management. Both scholars and the popular press have become increasingly interested in the management of corporate reputation. Corporate reputation is the result of a signaling activity based on available information about a firm’s actions. Reputation is also a yardstick of the firm’s relative standing routinely used by both internal and external stakeholders when making firm-related decisions (Dentchev and Heene, 2004: 56). Several empirical studies also confirm the positive relationship between good reputation and competitive advantage. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the corporate reputation and customer loyalty to the company in tourism industry. In this context, this study conducted in an active tourism firm’s customers in Turkey, finds that there are significant relations between the five dimensions of the corporate reputation and the loyalty of the customers

Specific Analysis of FDI and Economic Growth in Nigeria and Ghanainventionjournals
This study analyses the relationship between FDI and economic growth in Nigeria and Ghana and how these relationship differ between both countries. This was explored using annual time series data obtained from the World Bank WDI for the period 1970-2015. This paper adopted the Absorptive Capacity theoretical framework and using the Seemingly Unrelated Regression (SUR) technique, regressed economic growth (proxied by the growth rate of per capita real GDP) on FDI, FDI transmission channels, and five other control variables. After conducting all the necessary and sufficient statistical, economic and econometric tests, the results show that: (i) generally, FDI exerts some positive impact on economic growth in both countries; (ii) the absorptive capacity theory does not hold in both countries, (iii) there is a bi-directional causality running from FDI to economic growth and from economic growth to FDI in both countries; (iv) the relationship between economic growth and FDI does not differ between both countries.
Cocentroidal and Isogonal Structures and Their Matricinal Forms, Procedures a...inventionjournals
The vector space of all matrices of the same order on a set of real numbers with a non-negative metric defined on it satisfying certain axioms, we call it a JS metric space. This space can be regarded as the infinite union of matrices possessing a special property that there exist infinite structures having the same (virtual) point-centroid. In this paper we introduce the notion of cocentroidal matrices to a given matrix (Root Matrix) in JS metric space wherein the metric is the Euclidean metric measuring the distance between two matrices to be the distance between their centroids. We describe mathematical routines that we envisaged and then theoretically verified for its applicability in a system that is under rotational motion about a point-centroid, and various cases in physics. We have sounded the same concept by considering necessary graphs drawn on the basis of mathematical equations as an additional feature of this article. Isogonality of different cocentroidal structures is the conceptual origin of one of the main concepts, necessitating the notion of convergence in terms of determinant values of a system of cocentroidal matrices.

Building the Research Plan
The topic on the role of social media in marketing diversifies ideas on the future of the marketing domain with the increasing dependence on technology. In this research, the conceived hypothesis is based on current evidence which indicates that effective use of social media advocacies or campaigns is viable to enhance business and marketing brands, products, as well as services. Also, the hypothesis includes the idea that social media effectiveness is ideal in empowering the public as the target business clients to participate in the business operations and engage the brand through propositions, comments, sharing of images, videos, and other relevant media (Bashar et al., 2017). Through this, it will be possible to sustain business efficacy through innovativeness based on the customer needs which leads to the provision of marketing services compatible with customer needs. Hence, proving the research seeks to approve the conceived hypothesis that social media is useful and helps improve the future of marketing.
Accordingly, the integrated null hypothesis in this research encompasses a statement that indicates that no substantial diversity will be achieved through a statistical evaluation of the variants after testing. As such, it indicates that a specific variable asserts minimal or no impact on the outcomes of the test. In this research, the null hypo ...

Governments attempt to use all forms of information technologies including Internet and mobile computing to be able to transform relationships with citizens. However, there is a clear gap between the indicator of the impact of technology innovation output and government’s vision in United Arab Emirates (UAE). In this regard, investigating the relationship between service quality, user satisfaction, and performance impact may help the government to mark its current progress and milestone achievement. This research proposed a model based on Delone & McLean IS success model by considering the research context. The modeling of structural equations via PLS (Partial least squares) regression was applied to evaluate the model within the context of public sector in the UAE. The data was collected from a sample of 147 employees in public organizations using a questionnaire. Results demonstrated that the quality of service has a significant effect on user satisfaction. In addition, quality of service and user satisfaction positively influences the staff performance. The outcome of this research helps to enhance the understanding of the impact of smart government applications.

A Study on Customer Statisfication on Digital Marketingijtsrd
During different time era's different methods of communications has developed and changed the everyday life. Social media has become the way of communication in the 21st century, enabling us to express our thoughts, ideas and feelings in a complete new way. This way of communication have also had a huge impact on corporations, where they have realized that without a proper plan and social media strategy they have no chance to stand out in the rapidly changing digital space. To ensure a successful presence on social media the companies need to take different marketing theories into consideration so that they can boost their brand in diverse aspects. If this can be combined with innovative ways of consumer interaction the companies have a good chance to take the lead in social media marketing. Ms. G. Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN CONDENSING HEAT EXCHANGERS...ssuser7dcef0
Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.

Mediating Effects of Social Media on the Relationship between
Human Skill and Competitive Advantage in Sri Lankan Star
Hotels
Dr. S.W.G.K. Bulankulama
Senior Lecturer, Dept. of Social Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Rajarata University of Sri
Lanka, Anuradhapura (NCP), Sri Lanka
ABSTRACT: Social media is a new experience that change operates of business environment. The quality of
accessibility and most cost effective marketing way are its gains today. Businesses are able to gain access to
advantages that were otherwise not available to them. Meanwhile, the hotel industry is one of the rapidly
growing labour intensive industry actively pursuing contemporary marketing strategies applicable as to remain
competitive. Hence, hoteliers need to rethink their strategy of marketing to manage among others which
includes the social media. This research is to study the mediating effects of social media on the relationships
between human skill and competitive advantage in which 331 were the sample size of executive grade officers in
Sri Lankan star graded hotels. In this study mainly use the primary data which were collected through
questionnaire survey. The quantitative data were analysis using SPSS for correlation and Soble equation.
Results indicated that the mediating effects on the relationship between social media and competitive advantage.
There were positive correlations among the human skill, social media and competitive advantage.
Keywords: social media, competitive advantage, Sri Lankan hotel industry.
I. INTRODUCTION
Social media offers a new management and business opportunities and can be applied strategically in at
least four different ways for gaining competitive advantages; improve productivity and performance, facilitate
new ways of managing and organizing, and develop new businesses (Peppard, 1993). Ultimately, firms
investing in social media would attempt to gain a competitive advantage by lowering their cost or by improving
perception of customers about the quality of their products and services, and hence the differentiating of their
offering (Poter and Millar, 1985).
The different types of capabilities can be created by utilizing the social media. Williamson 2010, study
emphasis that capabilities in the customer intimacy, knowledge management, reputation build up, sense- and-
respond, and innovation enhanced by the utilization of social media. Furthermore, managing upward, working
efficiently and replacing technology are some of the benefits from social media (Jackson et al, 2007). According
to Williamson, building career, self expression, developing reputation, gaining perspective and gaining company
pulse can be enhanced through the sharing of information, problem solving and giving feedback using
communicating and networking facilities on social media.
Although utilizing the social media in the hotel industry in Sri Lanka, who had little social media use,
they nevertheless recognized the potential benefits from social media to build their reputation in conjunction
with the organization culture of the hotel industry. Therefore, this study address the social media for reputation
build up through the online marketing and this would be help to fill the gap between the country and individual
image building process for competitiveness in which hotel industry can provided the major role for image
building through improving their direct marketing.
II. OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
To meet the objectives, this analytical research examined the following hypotheses: the mediating
effects of social media on the relationship between human skill and competitive advantage.
III. RESEARCH METHODS
Survey Instrument
The researcher developed a standard questionnaire to measure the all variables that are relevant to the
study by adapting existing scales. The questionnaire was rated the response their agreement with each item on a
Liket scale ranging from strongly disagree (1) to strongly agree (5). Human skill was measure using two
dimension; IT Knowledge (ITK) (Ong and Ismail, 2008; Caldeira and Ward, 2003) and top management
commitment (TMC) (Carpenter et al., 2004). Utilization of social media was measure using three dimensions
(Tapscott and Williams,2006); openness of social media (SMO), shearing of social media (SMS) and peering of

social media (SMP). Customer satisfaction (CS) (Rohm et al., 2004) and organizational performance (OP)
(Chailee, 2008) are the dimensions of the competitive advantage.
Sampling and data collection
The sample for this study came from star grade hotels in Sri Lanka undertaking executive grade offices.
Using a universal sampling, each manager was invited to participate in the survey. The questionnaires were
distributed among the 392 executive officers of star hotels in the period of May to December, 2014 in Sri Lanka
and usable responds was 331. Journals, publications, magazines, and books accessed via the Internet are the
main sources of secondary data for this study.
Data Analysis
Data was analyzed through the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) for which the
descriptive frequency analysis, normality, Pearson Product Moment Correlation, and Soble equation.
IV. RESULT
Respondent Profile
The composition of the sample indicated that the 88 % of respondents are represented by males while
the remaining 12% are represented by the female respondents. Most of manages are male and they are employed
with high job satisfaction. The reason that service providing with room occupancy is the nature of the job for
male workers is due to the nature of the industry.
Hotel manages fell into the 31-35 years age group (41%), followed closely by 41% are above the 36
year age group. Of the rest closely by the 26 - 30 age groups at 15% and below 20 year age group represent by
9%. The level of education was categories as degree, diploma, O/L, A/L and others. In order to that in this
research, it provided the picture for tertiary education level in Sri Lanka.
V. ASSOCIATIONS AMONG THE HUMAN SKILLS, SOCIAL MEDIA AND
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE:
The human skill has a highly positive correlation with the top management’s commitment (TMC -
0.802), IT knowledge and experience (ITK – 0.837). The analysis shows the correlation of the top
management’s commitment with customer satisfaction (0.567) and organization performance (0.565) in the Sri
Lankan hotel industry. Furthermore, there is a positive correlation between the IT knowledge and experience
with customer satisfaction (0.666) and organizational performance (0.695). Social media openness (SMO),
shearing (SMS) and peering (SMP) are the measurements of the social media utilization in which provide the
positive association with the customer satisfaction, organizational performance and also the top management
commitment and IT knowledge.

VI. DISCUSSION
These findings are in agreement with the argument made by Colbert, 2004; Jacobs, 2009; Kluemper
and Rosen, 2009 from their studies in human skill and social media that mediate the relationship between the
human skill and competitive advantage in the hotel industry. Furthermore, the top management commitment as a
human skill makes a positive relationship with the organizational performance in which this study confirms that
the human skill is a vital factor in focusing on the relationship between the competitive advantages and
technology adoption. These findings would help to change and develop the organizations. Therefore, this study
empirically by identifying substantially supporting evidence on the significance of the social media utilization
mediating the relationship for human skill and the competitive advantage in star hotels in Sri Lanka.
