Governments attempt to use all forms of information technologies including Internet and mobile computing to be able to transform relationships with citizens. However, there is a clear gap between the indicator of the impact of technology innovation output and government’s vision in United Arab Emirates (UAE). In this regard, investigating the relationship between service quality, user satisfaction, and performance impact may help the government to mark its current progress and milestone achievement. This research proposed a model based on Delone & McLean IS success model by considering the research context. The modeling of structural equations via PLS (Partial least squares) regression was applied to evaluate the model within the context of public sector in the UAE. The data was collected from a sample of 147 employees in public organizations using a questionnaire. Results demonstrated that the quality of service has a significant effect on user satisfaction. In addition, quality of service and user satisfaction positively influences the staff performance. The outcome of this research helps to enhance the understanding of the impact of smart government applications.

The convergence of advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, and BigData with medical technology also has changed medical services significantly. Particularly digital healthcare services have developed in the untact settings by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to examine factors that affect the usefulness of such digital health care services perceived by users and their use satisfaction. The study defines the ‘personal influence factor, ‘information quality factor,’ and ‘social impact factor’ that affect digital healthcare service use and empirically analyzes the effects of such factors on perceived usefulness and use satisfaction. A survey was conducted among 364 individuals who used digital healthcare services in Korea, and then statistical analysis results were derived. Hence analysis results show that personal influence factors and social impact factors positively affected perceived usefulness while information quality factors did not. In addition, it turned out that personal influence factors and information quality factors had positive effects on use satisfaction while social impact factors did not affect use satisfaction. The above-stated results suggest that when it comes to digital healthcare service, personal influence factors concerning the experience of product or service use affected perceived usefulness and use satisfaction, social impact factors affected perceived usefulness, and information quality factors affected use satisfaction to a significant degree.

The apex authority is prescribing certain standards to be complied with by the educational institutions to have been certified as an accredited and excellent academic service providers in the country. This study pulls the concept of IT investment mandates into the conceptual research framework of mobile investment. A survey for the IT specialists working at 123 enterprise-level companies was conducted and hierarchical regression analysis was adopted. Our results show that IT investment and organizational IT capabilities influence the performance of the mobile office and that IT savvy plays as a moderator in the relationship between investment mandates and mobile office performance. This research also may indicate that transactional assets are most helpful factors for a change by the adoption of mobile technology. This study is a rare research paper to explain the impact of IT investment portfolios on the mobile office performance in an academic methodology.

The Barriers of E-Government Success: An Empirical Study from Jordanijmpict
This paper discussed the E-government success barriers and how could these barriers affect in users' dissatisfaction as measure of E-government success. The model explained more embedded relations of Information System (IS) success model in a negative context. E-government quality model encompasses information quality, system quality, service quality and IT infrastructures readiness, which are the predecessors
of user satisfaction as measure of E-government success. The research model has been empirically tested using 93 IT managers and IT specialists of Jordanian government agencies. PLS-structural equation modeling (SEM) has been used because his superior statistical power in dealing with complex causal model and small sample size. The results clearly articulated that provisioned e-services are less than expectations of stakeholders. We found that lack of IT infrastructures readiness is the strongest factor to affect in E-government performance negatively and the most important factor to provoke users’ dissatisfaction. Along with the other factors were found significantly correlated with users' dissatisfaction. The relation of system quality with services quality only the difference between female and male group, where male group found its insignificant while females found that low system quality led to low service quality directly.

PNSCares: The android based mobile application to manage student complaintsjournalBEEI
Managing the complaint is tough to handle, efficient response to the complaints from the customer can be an indicator to measure an organization’s performance. We’ve chosen Politeknik Nilai as one of the institutions that are facing daily complaints from the students and parents. Currently, they are using the manual form to lodge a complaint and receive the feedback via email. In this study, we developed an android based mobile application to manage the students’ complaint. With mobile apps, the management can prevent the loss of complaint forms and keep track of the records. This system will send feedback and notification directly via students’ mobile phone. This study referred to the ten principles for effective complaint handling by Ombudsman. We only referred to eight principles to construct the PNSCares. The methodology used to develop mobile apps is using the Mobile Application Development Life Cycle (MADLC). System Usability Scale (SUS) is used to measure the effectiveness of the mobile apps. The feedbacks from ten respondents on the PNSCares prototype are good with 72 scores in SUS for perceived usefulness and ease of use factor. Based on the result, the prototype is effective and easy to use.

The study aims at measuring the effects of information technology on the transformation of businesses in communication companies in Jordan. The study population consisted of companies' directors as well as their deputies, assistants, advisors, in addition to department managers and their assistants. The total number of the study subjects is 3 designated communication companies in Jordan; these are: Zain, Umniah, and Orange. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher had prepared a questionnaire which comprises of 45 items covering the three factors of the independent variable (Information Technology): infrastructure, developmental environment, and executive support systems and applications, as well as the three factors of the dependent variable (Transformation of Businesses): operations, organization change, and workers' competence. In order to test the hypotheses, the following three criteria were adequately used: The Medians, the Standard Deviations, as well as the Regression Analysis. The study has reached a number of results; the most notable amongst these results is that there is a positive effect that is statistically significant of information technology on the elements of business transformation in Jordanian communication companies and all of their relating elements.

To date, online shopping using e-commerce services becomes a trend. The emergence of e-commerce truly helps people to shop more effectively and efficiently. However, there are still some problems encountered in e-commerce, especially from the user perspective. This research aims to explore user review data, particularly on factors that influence user perception of e-commerce applications, classify, and identify potential solutions to finding problems in e-commerce applications. Data is grabbed using web scraping techniques and classified using proper machine learning, i.e., support vector machine (SVM). Text associations and fishbone analysis are performed based on the classified user review data. The results of this study show that the user satisfaction problem can be captured. Furthermore, various services that should be provided as a potential solution to experienced customers' problems or application users' perception problems can be generated. A detailed discussion of these findings is available in this article.

This paper focuses on the factors governing the market price of the shares in Infrastructure Sector of Companies such as ABB, Abode, Adani, BEML, BHEL. This study has examined the relationship between dependent variables Market Price Per Share (MPS) and independent variables Dividend Per Share (DPS), Earning per Share (EPS), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Equity (ROE) and Return on Assets (ROA). To fulfill this objective the researchers have collected secondary data related to market price and the financial variables of fore said companies. The collected data was analyzed with E-Views and Excel. The research results found that all the financial variables are not having relationship with market price and it has influence in certain aspects.
Information System Success Framework based on Interpersonal Conflict Factors IJECEIAES
Information system success (ISS) has received considerable attention from researchers as it plays an important role in improving the efficiency and productivity of an organization. Several researchers have conducted empirical studies using numerous factors (e.g. organizational, technological, and individual factors) which affect the information system success. However, there are several factors which are related to interpersonal conflict which may affect information system success. The interpersonal conflict is a critical dimension which can greatly influence information system success in a competitive environment such as the financial sector. Therefore, this study introduces a framework to investigate the influence of interpersonal conflict factors on information system success in the Ministry of Finance, Yemen. The study employed a quantitative method which consists of the following steps: survey design, data collection and data analysis. A sample size comprising 130 employees were distributed in the Ministry of Finance, Yemen. Questionnaires were used to collect data from this sample. Data analysis (reliability, validity, correlation and factor analysis) has been carried out using SPSS. In addition, structural equation modelling (SEM) has been used for evaluation the research model. Based on the experimental results, the findings in this study revealed that the interpersonal factors (interference, disagreement and instability) significantly negatively (at 0.05 level of significance) influence user satisfaction of information system success.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the factors that affect success of logistics companies adopting AI by studying the application of AI in the logistics industry. Although the application of technology and artificial intelligence has been widely studied, the factors affecting the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) are still unknown in the existing literature. Therefore, the main research in this paper is to explore the influence of success factors on AI by integrating technology, organization and environment (TOE) framework. The framework is judged by case analysis of logistics companies. This study provides some suggestions on successful adoption of AI technology fortheir logistics operations.

This paper discussed the E-government success barriers and how could these barriers affect in users' dissatisfaction as measure of E-government success. The model explained more embedded relations of Information System (IS) success model in a negative context. E-government quality model encompasses information quality, system quality, service quality and IT infrastructures readiness, which are the predecessors
of user satisfaction as measure of E-government success. The research model has been empirically tested using 93 IT managers and IT specialists of Jordanian government agencies. PLS-structural equation modeling (SEM) has been used because his superior statistical power in dealing with complex causal model and small sample size. The results clearly articulated that provisioned e-services are less than expectations of stakeholders. We found that lack of IT infrastructures readiness is the strongest factor to affect in E-government performance negatively and the most important factor to provoke users’ dissatisfaction. Along with the other factors were found significantly correlated with users' dissatisfaction. The relation of system quality with services quality only the difference between female and male group, where male group found its insignificant while females found that low system quality led to low service quality directly.

The study outcomes shown that business information system BIS adoption would increase organizational performances, and offering practical suggestions that may ensure the achievement of the objectives to be accomplished by using BIS contributing to organisational effectiveness. Beside, effective use of BIS in banks would maximizing the total value to financial performance. PNSCares: The android based mobile application to manage student complaintsjournalBEEI
Managing the complaint is tough to handle, efficient response to the complaints from the customer can be an indicator to measure an organization’s performance. We’ve chosen Politeknik Nilai as one of the institutions that are facing daily complaints from the students and parents. Currently, they are using the manual form to lodge a complaint and receive the feedback via email. In this study, we developed an android based mobile application to manage the students’ complaint. With mobile apps, the management can prevent the loss of complaint forms and keep track of the records. This system will send feedback and notification directly via students’ mobile phone. This study referred to the ten principles for effective complaint handling by Ombudsman. We only referred to eight principles to construct the PNSCares. The methodology used to develop mobile apps is using the Mobile Application Development Life Cycle (MADLC). System Usability Scale (SUS) is used to measure the effectiveness of the mobile apps. The feedbacks from ten respondents on the PNSCares prototype are good with 72 scores in SUS for perceived usefulness and ease of use factor. Based on the result, the prototype is effective and easy to use.

The study aims at measuring the effects of information technology on the transformation of businesses in communication companies in Jordan. The study population consisted of companies' directors as well as their deputies, assistants, advisors, in addition to department managers and their assistants. The total number of the study subjects is 3 designated communication companies in Jordan; these are: Zain, Umniah, and Orange. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher had prepared a questionnaire which comprises of 45 items covering the three factors of the independent variable (Information Technology): infrastructure, developmental environment, and executive support systems and applications, as well as the three factors of the dependent variable (Transformation of Businesses): operations, organization change, and workers' competence. In order to test the hypotheses, the following three criteria were adequately used: The Medians, the Standard Deviations, as well as the Regression Analysis. The study has reached a number of results; the most notable amongst these results is that there is a positive effect that is statistically significant of information technology on the elements of business transformation in Jordanian communication companies and all of their relating elements.

To date, online shopping using e-commerce services becomes a trend. The emergence of e-commerce truly helps people to shop more effectively and efficiently. However, there are still some problems encountered in e-commerce, especially from the user perspective. This research aims to explore user review data, particularly on factors that influence user perception of e-commerce applications, classify, and identify potential solutions to finding problems in e-commerce applications. Data is grabbed using web scraping techniques and classified using proper machine learning, i.e., support vector machine (SVM). Text associations and fishbone analysis are performed based on the classified user review data. The results of this study show that the user satisfaction problem can be captured. Furthermore, various services that should be provided as a potential solution to experienced customers' problems or application users' perception problems can be generated. A detailed discussion of these findings is available in this article.

This paper focuses on the factors governing the market price of the shares in Infrastructure Sector of Companies such as ABB, Abode, Adani, BEML, BHEL. This study has examined the relationship between dependent variables Market Price Per Share (MPS) and independent variables Dividend Per Share (DPS), Earning per Share (EPS), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Equity (ROE) and Return on Assets (ROA). To fulfill this objective the researchers have collected secondary data related to market price and the financial variables of fore said companies. The collected data was analyzed with E-Views and Excel. The research results found that all the financial variables are not having relationship with market price and it has influence in certain aspects.
Information System Success Framework based on Interpersonal Conflict Factors IJECEIAES
Information system success (ISS) has received considerable attention from researchers as it plays an important role in improving the efficiency and productivity of an organization. Several researchers have conducted empirical studies using numerous factors (e.g. organizational, technological, and individual factors) which affect the information system success. However, there are several factors which are related to interpersonal conflict which may affect information system success. The interpersonal conflict is a critical dimension which can greatly influence information system success in a competitive environment such as the financial sector. Therefore, this study introduces a framework to investigate the influence of interpersonal conflict factors on information system success in the Ministry of Finance, Yemen. The study employed a quantitative method which consists of the following steps: survey design, data collection and data analysis. A sample size comprising 130 employees were distributed in the Ministry of Finance, Yemen. Questionnaires were used to collect data from this sample. Data analysis (reliability, validity, correlation and factor analysis) has been carried out using SPSS. In addition, structural equation modelling (SEM) has been used for evaluation the research model. Based on the experimental results, the findings in this study revealed that the interpersonal factors (interference, disagreement and instability) significantly negatively (at 0.05 level of significance) influence user satisfaction of information system success.

take the exam from anywhere. The student is allowed to take the exam after he gives his necessary
authentication details. In SEMS, it is important to exclude false students while ensuring the privacy for the
honest students. It allows evaluators to share student examination papers for evaluation with proper
authentication. This is done using digital signatures, authentication and confidentiality provided by public
key cryptographic system.

This research is conducted to examine the factors that influence the behavioural intention of millienials in using SNS when seeking for a job. The data was collected from respondents who are from the generation Y demographic and actively looking for jobs. The respondents must possess some experience in using SNS when job hunting. The data was then gathered and analyzed using partial least square (PLS) which encompasses the measurement and structural models of the study. The findings revealed that three of the constructs as applied in TAM are statistically significant to behavioural intention. The three factors that influenced the job seekers’ intention to use SNSs as a job search tool are; perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and privacy concerns. All these factors are elements which contribute to and have a significant relationship with job seekers’ intention to use SNSs, as verified using PLS data analysis. The recruiters or employers who intend to adopt SNSs in the recruitment process are advised to design the recruitment plan regarding the utilization of SNSs to be more convenient and user-friendly. This study provides insight and knowledge regarding the impact of technology in online job application and hiring processes.

Syria's government has understood how critical it is to go in the direction of information technology. As a result, one of the main aims of this study is to figure out what factors impact Syrians' acceptance of the e-government system. A total of 600 questionnaires were delivered to Syrian individuals as part of a survey. The data was analysed using the structural equation model (SEM) using AMOS version 21.0. User intention to utilise an e-government system was shown to be influenced by performance expectations, effort expectations, system flexibility, citizens-centricity, and facilitating conditions. Assurance, responsiveness, reliability, tangibles, and empathy are five fundamental factors that have a major impact on government operation excellence. Behavioural Intention is being utilised as a mediator between the government operation excellence (GOE) initiative and the e-government platform.

The main objective of this paper is to investigate the SMEs’ leader perspective about the basic factors influencing the transformation into digitalization by SMEs they lead, using technological, organizational, and environmental (TOE) Model. The data were collected from 61 SMEs leaders in Oman, to achieve the study objective TOE model has been adopted. Internal consistency and data normality, and factor analysis were implemented. Structural equation modeling (SEM) used to test the proposed hypotheses. The outcomes of SEM indicate that TOE factors are significantly affects the ability of SMEs to digitalize their business process. The study findings come in the context of Omani definition of SMEs. More, no control was made for industry type to which SMEs participants are belong. Leaders of SMEs should frame strategies to simplify the digital transformation of their enterprises and attempt to provide organizational and technological facilities that will smooth their digitalization which will improve SMEs capabilities, as well as, increasing the international competitiveness of the SMEs. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this study is one of the first that investigated the digital transformation among SMEs from the leaders’ perspective in Oman.
The development of information and communication technology (ICT) during the era of the fourth industrial revolution, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and the government’s call for large-scale social restrictions have led to the emergence of online learning systems (OLS) in higher education. This study develops a measurement model for the success of OLS based on the DeLone & McLean model. Surveys were conducted on a sample of 175 students from domestic and international universities. Data processing used the partial least squares structural equation modeling or PLS-SEM method, and root cause analysis. The results show that platform quality has a positive influence on OLS success, whether mediated by user satisfaction or OLS usage. Social influence has a positive effect on OLS success, mediated by OLS usage. User computer anxiety has a negative effect on OLS success, mediated by user satisfaction. Recommendations to improve OLS success include adjusting internet package rates to make them more affordable, improving signal strength to various locations for better coverage, limiting the number of users in one learning session for more effective OLS, and the need for organizational support in using the right applications.

conformity with the concept of TAM in a government
institution. This study reveals that all variables which
include the model of TAM theory have a positive impact
on the user's performance. It also improvesthe
effectiveness of the information system within the
government institution, especially the implementation of
the financial management information system.

In order to achieve these goals, observational research was then carried out to collect primary information, using the method of data dissemination and obtaining the opinion of 360 from the public using the e-government service and some of the e-government and software quality experts. The results of the study show that the positive association among the e-government services quality and public perceived usefulness, public expectation confirmation, leadership quality and public satisfaction that also play a positive role on the public behavior intention.

This article elaborates the result of the Pilot Study which is related to IT implementation factors at the Higher Education Institution (HEI), a pilot study is used to validate quantitative readiness model of IT implementation. The main objective of this study is examining the factors that influence the readiness of IT implementation in HEI. This study attempts to analyze IT Content factors, Institutional Context, People, Process, Technology, Service Quality and IT Implementation Readiness (ITIR). The sample of data was taken from 150 HEIs throughout Indonesia which was then processed in statistical techniques through PLS-SEM method. The research finding shows that 9 of the 14 hypotheses used as ITIR model construct have a very significant influence on IT implementation on HEI, so that this finding can provide a comprehensive contribution to the literature of ITIR model development.

Empirical Investigation into ICT Services Evaluation Within a Public Institutionijmpict
The aim of the paper is to investigate the quality of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services provided to employees in a public administration organization. The Region of Central Macedonia (RCM) was chosen as the examined enterprise/organization. The provider of these services is exclusively the Department for Transparency and eGovernment (DTeG). After a presentation of the theory behind service quality measurement in general and in ICTs specifically, a quantitative research was carried out, utilizing a SERVPERF-derived, ICT-adapted, short form 13-item/4-dimension instrument approach. This research indicated that RCM employees value both the quality of the ICT services, as well as the satisfaction from them, as provided by DTeG, highly. The adapted SERVPERF instrument exhibited high internal consistency values, as well as strong correlation between its items and the overall perceived quality and satisfaction. Dimensionality tests indicated that two dimensions of the service quality constructs are measured: a combined “reliability”, “responsiveness” and “assurance” dimension and an “empathy” one. the findings can be used by the targeted organization to improve the quality of ICT services and better meet the needs of their users.

The active and reactive load changes have a significant impact on voltage
and frequency. In this paper, in order to stabilize the microgrid (MG) against
load variations in islanding mode, the active and reactive power of all
distributed generators (DGs), including energy storage (battery), diesel
generator, and micro-turbine, are controlled. The micro-turbine generator is
connected to MG through a three-phase to three-phase matrix converter, and
the droop control method is applied for controlling the voltage and
frequency of MG. In addition, a method is introduced for voltage and
frequency control of micro-turbines in the transition state from gridconnected mode to islanding mode. A novel switching strategy of the matrix
converter is used for converting the high-frequency output voltage of the
micro-turbine to the grid-side frequency of the utility system. Moreover,
using the switching strategy, the low-order harmonics in the output current
and voltage are not produced, and consequently, the size of the output filter
would be reduced. In fact, the suggested control strategy is load-independent
and has no frequency conversion restrictions. The proposed approach for
voltage and frequency regulation demonstrates exceptional performance and
favorable response across various load alteration scenarios. The suggested
strategy is examined in several scenarios in the MG test systems, and the
simulation results are addressed.

exogenous inputs (NARX) model. The proposed approach integrates the
benefits of nonlinear modeling with the adaptability of the NARX structure,
facilitating a more comprehensive representation of the intricate
electrochemical processes within the battery. Experimental data collected
from a Li-ion battery operating under diverse scenarios are employed to
validate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. The identified
NARX model exhibits superior accuracy in predicting the battery's behavior
compared to traditional linear models. This study underscores the
importance of accounting for nonlinearities in battery modeling, providing
insights into the intricate relationships between state-of-charge, voltage, and
current under dynamic conditions.

deployment of smart grids (SGs) is important to highlight possible
shortcomings that can be mitigated by developing new tools. This paper
contributes to the research trends mentioned above by focusing on two
objectives. First, a bibliometric analysis is presented to give an overview of
the current research level about smart grid deployment. Second, a survey of
the main technological approaches used for smart grid implementation and
their contributions are highlighted. To that effect, we searched the Web of
Science (WoS), and the Scopus databases. We obtained 5,663 documents
from WoS and 7,215 from Scopus on smart grid implementation or
deployment. With the extraction limitation in the Scopus database, 5,872 of
the 7,215 documents were extracted using a multi-step process. These two
datasets have been analyzed using a bibliometric tool called bibliometrix.
The main outputs are presented with some recommendations for future
research.

One of the problems that are associated to power systems is islanding
condition, which must be rapidly and properly detected to prevent any
negative consequences on the system's protection, stability, and security.
This paper offers a thorough overview of several islanding detection
strategies, which are divided into two categories: classic approaches,
including local and remote approaches, and modern techniques, including
techniques based on signal processing and computational intelligence.
Additionally, each approach is compared and assessed based on several
factors, including implementation costs, non-detected zones, declining
power quality, and response times using the analytical hierarchy process
(AHP). The multi-criteria decision-making analysis shows that the overall
weight of passive methods (24.7%), active methods (7.8%), hybrid methods
(5.6%), remote methods (14.5%), signal processing-based methods (26.6%),
and computational intelligent-based methods (20.8%) based on the
comparison of all criteria together. Thus, it can be seen from the total weight
that hybrid approaches are the least suitable to be chosen, while signal
processing-based methods are the most appropriate islanding detection
method to be selected and implemented in power system with respect to the
aforementioned factors. Using Expert Choice software, the proposed
hierarchy model is studied and examined.
Enhancing of single-stage grid-connected photovoltaic system using fuzzy logi...IJECEIAES
The power generated by photovoltaic (PV) systems is influenced by
environmental factors. This variability hampers the control and utilization of
solar cells' peak output. In this study, a single-stage grid-connected PV
system is designed to enhance power quality. Our approach employs fuzzy
logic in the direct power control (DPC) of a three-phase voltage source
inverter (VSI), enabling seamless integration of the PV connected to the
grid. Additionally, a fuzzy logic-based maximum power point tracking
(MPPT) controller is adopted, which outperforms traditional methods like
incremental conductance (INC) in enhancing solar cell efficiency and
minimizing the response time. Moreover, the inverter's real-time active and
reactive power is directly managed to achieve a unity power factor (UPF).
The system's performance is assessed through MATLAB/Simulink
implementation, showing marked improvement over conventional methods,
particularly in steady-state and varying weather conditions. For solar
irradiances of 500 and 1,000 W/m2
, the results show that the proposed
method reduces the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the injected current
to the grid by approximately 46% and 38% compared to conventional
methods, respectively. Furthermore, we compare the simulation results with
IEEE standards to evaluate the system's grid compatibility.

Photovoltaic systems have emerged as a promising energy resource that
caters to the future needs of society, owing to their renewable, inexhaustible,
and cost-free nature. The power output of these systems relies on solar cell
radiation and temperature. In order to mitigate the dependence on
atmospheric conditions and enhance power tracking, a conventional
approach has been improved by integrating various methods. To optimize
the generation of electricity from solar systems, the maximum power point
tracking (MPPT) technique is employed. To overcome limitations such as
steady-state voltage oscillations and improve transient response, two
traditional MPPT methods, namely fuzzy logic controller (FLC) and perturb
and observe (P&O), have been modified. This research paper aims to
simulate and validate the step size of the proposed modified P&O and FLC
techniques within the MPPT algorithm using MATLAB/Simulink for
efficient power tracking in photovoltaic systems.

Robot manipulators have become important equipment in production lines, medical fields, and transportation. Improving the quality of trajectory tracking for
robot hands is always an attractive topic in the research community. This is a
challenging problem because robot manipulators are complex nonlinear systems
and are often subject to fluctuations in loads and external disturbances. This
article proposes an adaptive synchronous sliding control scheme to improve trajectory tracking performance for a robot manipulator. The proposed controller
ensures that the positions of the joints track the desired trajectory, synchronize
the errors, and significantly reduces chattering. First, the synchronous tracking
errors and synchronous sliding surfaces are presented. Second, the synchronous
tracking error dynamics are determined. Third, a robust adaptive control law is
designed,the unknown components of the model are estimated online by the neural network, and the parameters of the switching elements are selected by fuzzy
logic. The built algorithm ensures that the tracking and approximation errors
are ultimately uniformly bounded (UUB). Finally, the effectiveness of the constructed algorithm is demonstrated through simulation and experimental results.
Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed controller is effective with small synchronous tracking errors, and the chattering phenomenon is
significantly reduced.

A remote laboratory utilizing field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technologies enhances students’ learning experience anywhere and anytime in embedded system design. Existing remote laboratories prioritize hardware access and visual feedback for observing board behavior after programming, neglecting comprehensive debugging tools to resolve errors that require internal signal acquisition. This paper proposes a novel remote embeddedsystem design approach targeting FPGA technologies that are fully interactive via a web-based platform. Our solution provides FPGA board access and debugging capabilities beyond the visual feedback provided by existing remote laboratories. We implemented a lab module that allows users to seamlessly incorporate into their FPGA design. The module minimizes hardware resource utilization while enabling the acquisition of a large number of data samples from the signal during the experiments by adaptively compressing the signal prior to data transmission. The results demonstrate an average compression ratio of 2.90 across three benchmark signals, indicating efficient signal acquisition and effective debugging and analysis. This method allows users to acquire more data samples than conventional methods. The proposed lab allows students to remotely test and debug their designs, bridging the gap between theory and practice in embedded system design.

Efficiently identifying and resolving code smells enhances software project quality. This paper presents a novel solution, utilizing automated machine learning (AutoML) techniques, to detect code smells and apply move method refactoring. By evaluating code metrics before and after refactoring, we assessed its impact on coupling, complexity, and cohesion. Key contributions of this research include a unique dataset for code smell classification and the development of models using AutoGluon for optimal performance. Furthermore, the study identifies the top 20 influential features in classifying feature envy, a well-known code smell, stemming from excessive reliance on external classes. We also explored how move method refactoring addresses feature envy, revealing reduced coupling and complexity, and improved cohesion, ultimately enhancing code quality. In summary, this research offers an empirical, data-driven approach, integrating AutoML and move method refactoring to optimize software project quality. Insights gained shed light on the benefits of refactoring on code quality and the significance of specific features in detecting feature envy. Future research can expand to explore additional refactoring techniques and a broader range of code metrics, advancing software engineering practices and standards.

Rapidly and remotely monitoring and receiving the solar cell systems status parameters, solar irradiance, temperature, and humidity, are critical issues in enhancement their efficiency. Hence, in the present article an improved smart prototype of internet of things (IoT) technique based on embedded system through NodeMCU ESP8266 (ESP-12E) was carried out experimentally. Three different regions at Egypt; Luxor, Cairo, and El-Beheira cities were chosen to study their solar irradiance profile, temperature, and humidity by the proposed IoT system. The monitoring data of solar irradiance, temperature, and humidity were live visualized directly by Ubidots through hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) protocol. The measured solar power radiation in Luxor, Cairo, and El-Beheira ranged between 216-1000, 245-958, and 187-692 W/m 2 respectively during the solar day. The accuracy and rapidity of obtaining monitoring results using the proposed IoT system made it a strong candidate for application in monitoring solar cell systems. On the other hand, the obtained solar power radiation results of the three considered regions strongly candidate Luxor and Cairo as suitable places to build up a solar cells system station rather than El-Beheira.

Over the past few years, the internet of things (IoT) has advanced to connect billions of smart devices to improve quality of life. However, anomalies or malicious intrusions pose several security loopholes, leading to performance degradation and threat to data security in IoT operations. Thereby, IoT security systems must keep an eye on and restrict unwanted events from occurring in the IoT network. Recently, various technical solutions based on machine learning (ML) models have been derived towards identifying and restricting unwanted events in IoT. However, most ML-based approaches are prone to miss-classification due to inappropriate feature selection. Additionally, most ML approaches applied to intrusion detection and prevention consider supervised learning, which requires a large amount of labeled data to be trained. Consequently, such complex datasets are impossible to source in a large network like IoT. To address this problem, this proposed study introduces an efficient learning mechanism to strengthen the IoT security aspects. The proposed algorithm incorporates supervised and unsupervised approaches to improve the learning models for intrusion detection and mitigation. Compared with the related works, the experimental outcome shows that the model performs well in a benchmark dataset. It accomplishes an improved detection accuracy of approximately 99.21%.
Developing a smart system for infant incubators using the internet of things ...IJECEIAES
This research is developing an incubator system that integrates the internet of things and artificial intelligence to improve care for premature babies. The system workflow starts with sensors that collect data from the incubator. Then, the data is sent in real-time to the internet of things (IoT) broker eclipse mosquito using the message queue telemetry transport (MQTT) protocol version 5.0. After that, the data is stored in a database for analysis using the long short-term memory network (LSTM) method and displayed in a web application using an application programming interface (API) service. Furthermore, the experimental results produce as many as 2,880 rows of data stored in the database. The correlation coefficient between the target attribute and other attributes ranges from 0.23 to 0.48. Next, several experiments were conducted to evaluate the model-predicted value on the test data. The best results are obtained using a two-layer LSTM configuration model, each with 60 neurons and a lookback setting 6. This model produces an R 2 value of 0.934, with a root mean square error (RMSE) value of 0.015 and a mean absolute error (MAE) of 0.008. In addition, the R 2 value was also evaluated for each attribute used as input, with a result of values between 0.590 and 0.845.

Honey is produced exclusively by honeybees and stingless bees which both are well adapted to tropical and subtropical regions such as Malaysia. Stingless bees are known for producing small amounts of honey and are known for having a unique flavor profile. Problem identified that many stingless bees collapsed due to weather, temperature and environment. It is critical to understand the relationship between the production of stingless bee honey and environmental conditions to improve honey production. Thus, this paper presents a review on stingless bee's honey production and prediction modeling. About 54 previous research has been analyzed and compared in identifying the research gaps. A framework on modeling the prediction of stingless bee honey is derived. The result presents the comparison and analysis on the internet of things (IoT) monitoring systems, honey production estimation, convolution neural networks (CNNs), and automatic identification methods on bee species. It is identified based on image detection method the top best three efficiency presents CNN is at 98.67%, densely connected convolutional networks with YOLO v3 is 97.7%, and DenseNet201 convolutional networks 99.81%. This study is significant to assist the researcher in developing a model for predicting stingless honey produced by bee's output, which is important for a stable economy and food security.

The internet of things (IoT) is a revolutionary innovation in many aspects of our society including interactions, financial activity, and global security such as the military and battlefield internet. Due to the limited energy and processing capacity of network devices, security, energy consumption, compatibility, and device heterogeneity are the long-term IoT problems. As a result, energy and security are critical for data transmission across edge and IoT networks. Existing IoT interoperability techniques need more computation time, have unreliable authentication mechanisms that break easily, lose data easily, and have low confidentiality. In this paper, a key agreement protocol-based authentication mechanism for IoT devices is offered as a solution to this issue. This system makes use of information exchange, which must be secured to prevent access by unauthorized users. Using a compact contiki/cooja simulator, the performance and design of the suggested framework are validated. The simulation findings are evaluated based on detection of malicious nodes after 60 minutes of simulation. The suggested trust method, which is based on privacy access control, reduced packet loss ratio to 0.32%, consumed 0.39% power, and had the greatest average residual energy of 0.99 mJoules at 10 nodes.

In real world applications, data are subject to ambiguity due to several factors; fuzzy sets and fuzzy numbers propose a great tool to model such ambiguity. In case of hesitation, the complement of a membership value in fuzzy numbers can be different from the non-membership value, in which case we can model using intuitionistic fuzzy numbers as they provide flexibility by defining both a membership and a non-membership functions. In this article, we consider the intuitionistic fuzzy linear programming problem with intuitionistic polygonal fuzzy numbers, which is a generalization of the previous polygonal fuzzy numbers found in the literature. We present a modification of the simplex method that can be used to solve any general intuitionistic fuzzy linear programming problem after approximating the problem by an intuitionistic polygonal fuzzy number with n edges. This method is given in a simple tableau formulation, and then applied on numerical examples for clarity.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), seventy million individuals worldwide suffer from epilepsy, a neurological disorder. While electroencephalography (EEG) is crucial for diagnosing epilepsy and monitoring the brain activity of epilepsy patients, it requires a specialist to examine all EEG recordings to find epileptic behavior. This procedure needs an experienced doctor, and a precise epilepsy diagnosis is crucial for appropriate treatment. To identify epileptic seizures, this study employed a convolutional neural network (CNN) based on raw scalp EEG signals to discriminate between preictal, ictal, postictal, and interictal segments. The possibility of these characteristics is explored by examining how well timedomain signals work in the detection of epileptic signals using intracranial Freiburg Hospital (FH), scalp Children's Hospital Boston-Massachusetts Institute of Technology (CHB-MIT) databases, and Temple University Hospital (TUH) EEG. To test the viability of this approach, two types of experiments were carried out. Firstly, binary class classification (preictal, ictal, postictal each versus interictal) and four-class classification (interictal versus preictal versus ictal versus postictal). The average accuracy for stage detection using CHB-MIT database was 84.4%, while the Freiburg database's time-domain signals had an accuracy of 79.7% and the highest accuracy of 94.02% for classification in the TUH EEG database when comparing interictal stage to preictal stage.

Based on this, a combined algorithm for recognizing driving style is proposed. Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.

of the 'SMART' stands for the main feature of new technology which is social, mobile, analytics,
radical-openness trust [6-12] .
Although innovativeness is being increasingly investigated in the academic literature as an important
variable in the context of technology adoption and its impact, there is a clear gap between the indicator of
the impact of technology innovation output and UAE government’s vision of the future in this regard.
More specifically, there is lack of empirical studies examining the relationship between service quality,
user satisfaction, and performance impact in the context of smart government in UAE. To be able to reduce
this discrepancy, this research addresses the relationship between the quality of service in smart government
initiative and users’ satisfaction, and the impact of these two factors on the performance of public sector
organizations in UAE. The paper is organized so that the proposed model is introduced by identifying
the constructs and related hypotheses. Then, the applied research method is described. Next, data analysis
and results are reported. Finally, results discussion and conclusion is presented.
2. THE PROPOSED MODEL
The correlations between the proposed factors are conjectured in a conceptual model based on
Delone and McLean IS success model [13]. Figure 1 displays the proposed model which includes service
quality, user satisfaction and performance impact. Delone & Mclean developed the information system
success model, which known as DMISM, to comprehensively review IS success factors. Six categories of IS
success factors were concluded including system quality, information quality, IS use, user satisfaction,
individual impact, and organizational impact [6, 14-19]. Then in 2003, the model was updated by the same
authors (Delone & Mclean) by including service quality as a new dimension. Further, all impact
measurements were grouped into one category called “net benefit”, to avoid complicating the model with
more success measurements [20-22]. The proposed model examines the correlation between service quality,
user satisfaction and performance in the context of smart government services in UAE. Accordingly,
the proposed conceptual model has three hypotheses to be tested. The following sub sections define
the model constructs and related hypotheses.

2.1. Service quality (SERQ)
Service quality means the fulfilment of service provided to meet customer needs, satisfaction and
expectations [23]. With reference to the research of IS, in their restructured IS success model, Delone and
McLean [24] have defined service quality using these characteristics: reliability, tangibles, assurance,
responsiveness, and empathy. Delone & McLean [24] proposed that the service quality stands for user
support by the department of IS, and is often assessed by the reliability, responsiveness and empathy [24].
Oktal et al. [25] examined the impact of service quality on user satisfaction as well as the impact
of performance and stated its importance on both relationships [25]. As a result, the below hypotheses
are proposed:
H1: Service quality significantly influences user satisfaction.
H2: Service quality significantly influences performance impact.
2.2. User satisfaction (SAT)
User satisfaction is considered as one of the central aspects in IS discipline [26-30]. Thus, it has
been tested extensively in studying the use of systems and applications [25]. User satisfaction is defined as
the attitude of the user towards a computer system/application he interacts with [31]. It is the extent to which
the user thinks application/system fulfils his/her requirements. In addition, user satisfaction is considered as

a measure of whether the user thinks that the system is useful and he wishes to use it again [25, 32, 33].
User satisfaction and performance are key constructs of the Delone and McLean IS success model, thus
the relationship between these two constructs has been confirmed widely in the literature. Alshamsi, et al., [7]
examined and confirmed the significance of the relationship between using smart government services and user
satisfaction. As a result, the following hypothesis is proposed:
H3: User satisfaction has a significant influence on performance impact.
2.3. Performance impact (PI)
The performance impact is the definitive measurement regarding the use of an IS, as being a key
aspect in the Delone and Mclean IS success model [2]. It has extensively been the focus of several studies in
this domain. Aparicio et al., [34] investigated factors that influence the performance impact of using
e-learning systems. Furthermore, a study by Tam and Oliveira [35] in Portugal examined the performance
impact of using mobile learning.
3. RESEARCH METHOD
The research method for this study involved creating a questionnaire of 13 items. The questionaire
items were developed by adapting the orginal measurments from the literature of IS in the context of
the study. The questionnaire used Likert scale suggested by [36], and applied in the previous studies in
the similar context [20, 32, 37, 38]. The data was collected using a self-managed questionnaire between
January 2017 and March 2018. Employees in governmental organisations in UAE were targeded. 200
questionnaires were distrbuted, and 160 were returned. After data screening process, 15 responses were
droped. According to Krejcie and Morgan [39] and Tabachnick and Fidell [40], the sample size (145) is
sufficient. Structural Equation Modelling-Variance Based (SEM-VB) was used to assess the proposed model
by utilising SmartPLS 3.0 [41]. Using PLS, measurement and structural model simultaneously can be
analysed which results in more accurate estimates [42]. Table 1 illustrates the demographic data of
the respondents.

4. RESULTS
Based on partial least squares (PLS), two-stage analytical technique; measurement model
assessment (verifying the reliability and validityof the instrument) and structural model assessment
(examining the hypothesized relationships) was applied after reporting the descriptive results [43]. According
to Hair et al., [43], the measurement model examines each construct’s scale, and the structural model
examines the correlation between the constructs in the model. PLS technique is capable of analysis
the structural and measurement model simultaneously with a significant degree of accuracy [14, 44-49].

4.1. Descriptive analysis
Table 2 shows the results of standard deviation (SD) and mean of every parameter scale in
the instrument. The respondents were asked to reveal their opinion regarding service quality, user
satisfaction, and performance impact based on a 5-point Likert scale varying from 5 (strongly agree) to 1
(strongly disagree). The score of the impact of performance was the highest with 3.263 mean and
SD of 1.018.

4.2. Assessment of measurement model
Reliability and validity (comprising discriminant and convergent validity) of the constructs’
measurments were assessed in this stage. Cronbach alpha (α) was tested to assess the reliability of each
construct in the model. The cronbach alpha scores of all constructs ranged from 0.922 to 0.952,
which exceeded the satisfaction value of 0.7 [50-52]. In addition, for inspecting the reliability, the composite
reliability (CR) values were reported. CR values ranged from 0.950 to 0.963, which also were greater than
0.7 [53-56] in Table 2. Thus, construct reliability has been fulfilled for all constructs. In addition, indicator
reliability assessment was conducted by examining factor loadings. As per Hair et al. [50], the values
exceeding 0.70 suggest substantial factor loadings. Table 1 shows that all items have factor loadings’ values
greater than the suggested value of 0.7 except PI_6 which was droped from PI scale because of low loading.
For the convergent validity assessment, AVE (average variance extracted) was examined. AVE is
refered as the degree to which an item is correlated positively with the items in the same construct.
All the AVE scores ranged from 0.808 to 0.897, which is beyond the minimum criteria of 0.50 [57].
Thus, all constructs have convergent validity as shown in Table 2.
The degree to which each construct is distinct and captures a phenomenan not represented by other
constructs is refered as discriminant validity. Cross-loadings and Fornell-Larcker criterian were used to
assess the discriminant validity. Cross-loadings measurement is applied as the initial step in examining
discriminant validity [43]. The results show that the items’ outer loadings on each construct exceed all
the outer loadings with other constructs. This indicates that the cross-loading assessment had met
the requirements as shown in Table 3.

Further, for discriminant validity assessment, Fornell-Larcker measurement is applied. The results
indicate that √AVE for each construct is greater than the inter-correlations with other constructs as shown in
Table 4, which demonstrates that each construct is distinct [58-59]. According to Hair et al., [43],
this indicates that all constructs had fulfilled discriminant validity.

4.3. Assessment of structural model
To test the proposed hypotheses, the significance of each path is estimated using a PLS
bootstrapping method with 5000 resamples. Verifying the hypotheses involves calculating path coefficients
(beta β), its corresponding t-values and R² [43]. The value of the β indicates the strengths of relationships
between the constructs. In addition, the R2
value represents the amount of variance explained by
independent variables.
Table 5 and Figure 2 illustrate the assessment of structural model representig the results of
the hypothesis testing, where all the 3 hypotheses are examined. Service quality considerably predicts user
satisfaction. Hence, H1 is supported with (t p < 0.001). Service quality and user
satisfaction significantly predict performance impact. Hence, H2 and H3 are supported with (
t p < 0.001) and (t p < 0.001), respectively.
The strength of the correlations between the constructs is evaluated by the path coefficients,
and in this case, the results demonstrate that the straightforward consequences of user satisfaction on
the performance impact are stronger than the effects of quality of service on the performance impact.
Furthermore, the R² values show adequate level of descriptive power, suggesting a substantial model [60-62].

5. DISCUSSION
Service quality was found to positively influences user satisfaction in using smart government
services among employees in public sector in the UAE, which is supported by previous studies
[6, 19, 20, 38, 63-66]. It is explained by the fact that the more the employee is able to use smart government
services at the time or place he/she wants, find platforms that are relevant to his tasks, and is able to
communicate interactively through it, the more the employees consider their use of smart government
services to be a wise decision, as it meets their expectations, and leaves them feeling generally satisfied.
It was also discovered that the quality of service significantly affected performance impact.
This effect, which is supported by past studies [32, 33, 37, 67-69], has been described by the idea that when
a staff member of a public sector organisation is able to utilise smart government applications at the place or
time he/she wishes, find platforms appropriate for his tasks, and is also able to be in touch interactively using
it, then this will bring about a performance enhancement in 3 perspectives: efficiency (complete tasks easily
and quickly), knowledge acquisition (acquire new skills and knowledge, generate innovative ideas) and
improve communication with clients and employees, besides decision quality and service delivery.
In the long run, user satisfaction was discovered to positively influence the impact of performance
of smart government applications among staff members within public sector organisations in the UAE.
This effect is supported by the past studies [70-72], and is justified by the fact that when staff members in
public sector organisations are already satisfied with the application, it will make a contribution to their
performance improvement in 3 perspectives: efficiency, knowledge acquirement and with regards to
communication with clients and employees, besides decision quality and service delivery.
6. CONCLUSION
Even though the governmental organisations of UAE are ahead of their regional peers in terms of
performance, it is trying hard to enhance the services of its public sector institutions, the results of this
research could be regarded as one of the proposals that can be used in this direction. The aim of this research
was to test the impact of technology attributes quality of service on user satisfaction as well as impact of
performance of smart government applications on the employees in the public sector organisations in
the UAE. It has offered a case to authenticate parts of Delone & McLean IS success model and, despite
various restrictions faced by the research; it has been able to give an insight into a new context of smart
governments. The results revealed that all three hypotheses were significant, and the independent variables
significantly explain 51% of performance impact.
