The document discusses pitching a thriller film opening. It would feature a young man waking up confused in a field and seeing a mysterious man who disappears. As the young man searches for what's wrong with him, the man reappears and chases him through the forest. The young man makes it to a road for help but is overwhelmed by the man and additional identical men, who kill him while the scene cuts to black with his cries heard. The document also discusses the target audience of 16-21 years old, filming locations, props of plain masks and black clothing, health and safety precautions, and assigned roles for the film.
2. The target audience will generally be around 16-21. The
reasons being the terminology used by the main
character within the film will be quite colloquial the
language may be hard for younger and older generations
to grasp
At the same time the younger viewers will not be able to
understand the mature language and will certainly not be
allowed to see the mature grotesque content as it may be
mentally scarring

3. Our opening consists of a young man waking up in an isolated field, looking
around dazed and confused. Confused he sees someone standing in front of
him, as he rushes up to his feet fearful of who this random person is who
appeared out of nowhere. He rises to his feet and his vision goes blurry, he
sways from left to right dizzy, blinking repeatedly as the man is nowhere to be
seen. He grunts in pain and looks for what is wrong with him, as he pulls his
top up and sees a cut wound on his stomach. He nearly falls in dizziness and
sees the mysterious man again, he tries to run staggering and stumbling
through the forest. Every time he looks back the mysterious figure gets closer
and closer as he continues to stumble through the forest. The young man
makes it to a road crying out for help and falling as the man slowly approaches
him, overpowering him. The man breathes heavily and in slow motion closes
his eyes the mysterious man brings out a knife. The young man becomes
surrounded by more men identical to the original, closing in on him.
It cuts to black as you hear the men killing the young man.
SYNOPSIS

4. We have chosen a typical location as we chose Hainault
Forest at midday rather than in the evening– however it
is non stereotypical as it wont be dark and it will be
easier to film in the forest, it would be more scary if it
was darker. The filming will be at the north east side of
the forest

5. Black clothing and plain white masks; the reason for this
is to create an enigmatic effect of the unknown as these
mysterious men all look the same and there is no way of
knowing who they are.
PROPS

6. We may encounter wildlife so we must make sure we
aren't in any populated areas
The main character is gong to need to fall meaning there
may need to be padding in clothing to reduce the chance
of injury as he needs to fall on the floor during the film
We must insure no cars are nearby when filming near the
road.
