The feedback was generally positive, praising elements like the graphics, music choice, voiceover, and links between the different pieces. Some negative feedback noted issues like rooms being too dark or a clock shot being too short. The document also describes how the students used various media technologies in their project, including computers, cameras, and editing software, and notes how technology has advanced significantly in the last decade.

COME

Company Valuation webinar series - Tuesday, 4 June 2024FelixPerez547899
This session provided an update as to the latest valuation data in the UK and then delved into a discussion on the upcoming election and the impacts on valuation. We finished, as always with a Q&A
In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.
Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

2. In what ways does your media products use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? For our trailer, we used quite a few influences, we used the A-team as we liked the voiceover, but we changed it lightly as the A team used an American voice where we used a British voice as this was a seen to be a British production. We also used Youth and revolt as his flicked over the cereal in the trailer, but instead of flicking our cereal bowl over, we flicked the cereal at the camera screen. Also our character wasn’t that cool, and was more of a “loser.” Both of our characters were shot sitting down on the table though.
3. How effective is the combination of your main products and ancillary texts? Throughout our Practical, we have used roughly the same synergy, throughout our trailer, poster and magazine cover. For exampled we have used the same lined paper throughout for the background of our poster and magazine cover, and our background for our titles in the trailer. This shows its effectiveness because we also used roughly the same colour scheme, throughout our Practical. In our trailer, magazine cover and poster, we also used Jack, our main character, so this also showed a link between all the pieces that we had done also. Having these links would help people to know that we are advertising the same movie, because they see similarities throughout.
4. What have you learned from your audience feedback? Positive feedback We got back quite a lot of good feedback for out teaser trailer, as we posted our video on Facebook and YouTube. A message on YouTube said “great film - you guys show real potential !! keep up and keep the dream alive !!” From our media class we got good comments that liked our graphics and use of Photoshop was good, they also liked the music because it suited the genre of the trailer. The class also liked our time lapse that we did because it showed the day beginning from dark early morning to bright. Our radio shot was also said to be good as we added sound to tune the radio, which showed our creativity.
5. Continued They also liked the close up of the shot in the bathroom, with toothpaste being put on the toothbrush. They also did like our titles as we found a font which looked very child like and decided to use it and colour it in, to make it look like it was scribbled, they said it suited the genre of the trailer. Another thing that they liked was our voice over, which we used a British voice, to go with out British film. Another positive feedback was that they liked it when our main character Jack threw his cereal onto the screen which showed the cheekiness of our main character. Our music was also a good impression as they said it suited our genre very well.
6. Continued Negative feedback We got negative feedback when Jack was sleeping in his room and some people said that the room was too dark, whereas I didn’t think it was that dark as it not supposed to be that light because its early in the morning where the curtains are supposed to be shut. We also got negative feedback on our clock as some people thought that the clip of the clock was too short so they didn’t think that it was a clock, instead they thought it was a tyre. They also thought that the shot of the clock was wonky. But this was difficult as we had 3 shots of trying to record the alarm going off and we thought that we had chosen the best shot, but we thought this was very minor.
7. Continued People also thought that the lighting in some areas was too bright or too dark, like the bedroom scene, which we thought didn’t make sense because it is supposed to be morning. In the bathroom scene people also said that the mirror was a bit wonky, which was very hard to shoot as Bradley and I had to hold it up while Milly was recording.
8. How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research planning and evaluation stages? For our trailer, magazine cover and poster we used a lot of media convergence, such as computers, scanners, hard drives, iMac's, I movie, QuickTime, the internet, camera, video camera and loads more. We used the internet for choosing the font that we needed, for our trailer which we used a website to identify the style o font that you wanted. We also used the internet to get our music for our trailer also, so that it would suit the genre and we found music that wasn’t copy-righted so we used it. Also the internet was used to track our progress of putting work onto our blogs, which was important so hat we could document our work a stage at a time. Our influences were also found on the internet, from looking at different types of teaser trailer. For our magazine
9. Continued We looked at influences from the internet as well by looking at kids magazines to fit with out film, also for doing our poster we used the internet for finding influence on how we should design our poster. The scanner was used to scan in our work to our blog, and also used for our poster, this is because we wanted drawn in images so we drew them scanned them into the iMac to be coloured, then added them to out poster. The hard drives and USB’s were also used to help us move our work from different computers so that we could put all of our work together.
10. Continued The iMac was a big help in putting our whole film together as it had programmes such as QuickTime and iMovie, iMovie helped us a lot by putting our whole teaser trailer together, without iMovie, this would have been difficult. It helped us a add things like transitions and audio and import our titles that were made on Photoshop. QuickTime was also useful as we used the screen re order to record our influential trailer into our evaluation we made on iMovie. The camera helped us take pictures of our main character Jack for our Magazine cover and poster, the camera was also used to document our filming schedules.
11. Continued The video camera played a big role in helping us record our entire teaser trailer. Without the video camera this would be impossible, this helped us film the shots of him at home, the time lapse and shots of the school which we didn’t end up using. If we had done this 10 years ago, this would be a lot harder to do, this is because first the internet was not developed to such a high standard as it is today, this means that we wouldn’t find it hard to search for influences, use a blog and to get feedback from our trailer. We wouldn’t have had this amazing software like the iMac’s,
12. Continued iMovie or QuickTime. We would have had to use tape and use equipment to attach it to the computer, which would be very time consuming, this shows how technology has grown over the past decade. 10 years ago it would have been a lot harder to put all our work together, with good editing, transitions and audio Fx and titles.
