1. Media Script “Confrontation”
Scene 1 – INT - Office
SFX - Fade In
A man is sitting at a table, thinking, irritated. (Medium shot of man)
Close Up Of Man’s Face
Sound - Phone Rings (Close Up of Phone)
The man picks up the phone, puts it to his ear. There is another man on the other end of the
telephone. (Close up of mans face)
Boss
Yes?
Boss
Send them in.
Boss puts phone down and looks down. Cuts to a long wide shot of boss. Man hears knock on door.
Boss
Come in.
Close up of door handle turning, door opens, two men walk through and proceed to go and sit down.

2. Medium shot of the two men. Boss still irritated.
Boss
Do you know why I called you in here?
Henchman 1 and Henchman 2
(At the same time) No sir.
Boss stares for a few seconds, paces back and forth (over the shoulder shot while pacing), then
proceeds to look at men, breathe in, stops and smiles, smashes table, henchmen jump out of chairs
in fear (over shoulder shot when they jump up)
Boss, shouting now (cuts to medium shot of Boss)
YOU SHOULD HAVE EVERY IDEA WHY I CALLED YOU IN HERE! THE REASON YOUR HERE IS SIMPLE. I
WANT YOU, TO EXPLAIN TO ME, HOW WE LOST ONE HUNDREDAND TWENTY THOUSAND POUNDS
WORTH OF PRODUCT INTO THE ABYSS!
Henchman 1, scared
We didn't mean to, boss, I swear!
Henchman 2, scared
Yeah, we didn't mean to boss!
Boss, still shouting
I DON'T CARE IF YOU DIDN'T MEAN TO. THIS IS A BUSINESS. AS SUCH, I EXPECT MISTAKES NOT TO BE
MADE. NOW, SIT DOWN!
Boss calms down slightly, sits down himself.

3. Boss
Let me make something perfectly clear. I could be dealing with this in an entirely different way right
now. All I have to do is click my fingers and your gone. But, your good workers. I need good workers.
And because I'm not like other bosses, I give second chances. You both understand?
Henchman 1
Yes sir.
Henchman 2
Yes sir.
Boss, breathing deeply
Ok.... Now, get out of my sight and get back to work.
Henchmen get up, turn around and start to leave.
Boss
Hey!
Henchmen, surprised, turn around
Boss
I do not want to have this conversation again. Make sure it doesn't come to that. Now go.
Two henchmen leave the room, cut to man's face, pleased.
