Genre The film which we are making will be a thriller with a element of comedy involved, therefore making his film a thriller/comedy hybrid. The generic repertoire of elements which we would use are: - Stock Narrative: Hero defeats Villain - Iconography: Gadgets, Fancy Suits and Fast Cars. - Stock Settings: London (built up area), dirty alleys, secret location
Why? We have based our film on the genre of thriller and the spy theme because of the many great, epic films that have been produced about spy’s, some being; James Bond. The Bourne series. Johnny English.
Summary of Location Somewhere in the midst of London, MI6 plays host to the best spies in the world and some of the most top secret unknown government locations. You are here
Villain A defiant spy of MI6 becomes a saboteur on his home nation by stealing a data base of secret government information and hands it to a member of Al Qaeda, who intends to use it against the government.
Hero MI6 put the rookie agent McBrandy on the case, to retain the files stolen by the defiant MI6 spy to save his nations secrets, this becomes unrealistically hard because he is inadequate in his abilities to complete the task.
Donor A MI6 technology expert has devised numerous lethal weapons and gadgets in order to help McBrandy on his mission
Storyline McBrandy travels around London following the different leads and interrogating the different people throughout the mission to get closer to the defiant spy which had handed over the files, eventually when he finds the spy he persuades him to tell McBrandy where the recipient of the files is.
Ending McBrandy finds the Al Qaeda suspect and puts him into custody and recovers the taken files, and restores the nations faith in MI6. THE END.
Audience & Budget Our demographic is mainly aimed at teenagers but would also appeal to most adults, with its comic features. For the budget we were thinking of spending around 2 million for the special features used.
Studios & Distributers
The opening In our opening you will see a point of view shot of a fly through in London, coming up to the entrance of the MI6 and you see agent McBrandy enter the building. Then it will cut to a flash red alarm, with sirens going off, where everyone is called to a board room to discuss matters of grave importants.
