Film pitch.
1. We chose this name for our film because the film is related to
hacking and codes. We are hoping for our titles to be all in code
font.
2. Visual mood board of similar films
and influences
Above is our visual mood board of films we are influenced by
that we would like to make similar to our film.
A repetitive genre amongst these three films is ‘action/spy.’ We
really like the idea of an intense and challenging story line
where the audience have to do all the thinking and work out
the cleverness of it. We hope to incorporate this in our film, but
perhaps for a younger audience like ourselves and young
adults.
3. Genre = Spy action.
Spy Action is our Genre. This was the genre that
we all felt most confident about and most
wanted to do. With the areas around us we feel
this would be the most suitable for us to film.
4. Conventions.
Music will be fast and upbeat and fast paced.
Lighting will be used to created moods and
feelings. Shots will be fast cut away quickly.
5. Target Audience.
15-18 year old (Young Adults. Our Target

iconic views of London so that the audience will
recognise the iconic places.

11. Textual analysis
We would like to include a lot of match on action
shots. We will also use freeze-frames to trap the
action into shot while titles come up. Props will not
be common but earpieces will be used to show that
the people are spies. The most heavily featured
prop will be the hackers laptop. Sounds will be used
to build up suspense and mystery. This will help the
overall mood of the opening scene. Fast paced
music will be used when the chase is happening so
that the chase will be thrilling.
