This document summarizes primary research conducted to identify the target audience for a new music magazine. The research found that the target audience is mainly male, between ages 14-17, who enjoy rock music, use Facebook, and are currently students. Secondary research on circulation of similar magazines NME and Q showed that NME has lower but stable circulation due to its online presence, while Q's circulation has declined in recent years in line with changing media consumption habits. Overall, the target audience for the new magazine is students who are open to exploring new brands.
