Ellie anxiously waits for Abbie in a room, calling her on the phone. When Abbie arrives running up the stairs and bursts into the room, Ellie questions where she has been. The two have a back-and-forth conversation using shot/reverse shot filming. Abbie then jumps up and tells Ellie they must leave, and they run out of the room together while tense background music plays throughout.

1. Media Preliminary Task – Idea
1. Tense background music will begin playing in the background.
2. The piece will begin with a shot of Ellie sitting in a room looking anxious as she is
waiting for Abbie to arrive. The next shot will show her picking up her phone and
making a call.
3. Abbie will then be filmed answering her phone as she is running up the stairs in a
hurry.
4. She will then be filmed bursting into the room in which Ellie is waiting; this is how I
will demonstrate match on action.
5. Abbie will sit opposite Ellie and Ellie will begin talking to her, questioning her where
she has been.
6. As Abbie replies to Ellie and them exchange dialogue I will demonstrate shot/reverse
shot, by filming from behind their shoulders.
7. Abbie will then jump up sat to Ellie that they must go before running out of the
room.
8. Ellie will then follow her out the room.
9. The last shot will be of the door closing and will finish with a title screen of ‘to be
continued…’
10. The music will fade out at the end of the film.
