Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

Media Conference:Mizell Senior Center Takes Fall Prevention Class Valley-Wide
Falls are the leading cause of death due to unintentional injury among older adults.
Each year, 1 out of 3 older adults experiences a fall, which often causes severe disability
among survivors. Injuries from falls may also lead to fear of falling, sedentary behavior,
impaired function, and lower quality of life.
On the National Council on Aging’s ‘Fall Prevention Awareness Day,’ you are invited to a
media conference to learn about Mizell Senior Center’s evidence-based fall prevention
programs:
‘Get Balanced’ Fall Prevention Program Introduction
September 23 • 10:00 a.m.
Mizell Senior Center • 480 S. Sunrise Way, Palm Springs, CA
Currentlyoffering the only fall prevention courses for older adults in the area,
Mizell Senior Center plans to share its program with other senior centers, skilled
nursing facilities, and hospitals across the Coachella Valley.
The event will include a demonstration of the ‘Get Balanced’ class, created as an
extension of Mizell’s award-winning ‘A Matter of Balance’ program that offers practical
strategies to manage falls and increase activity levels. Refreshments will be served.
