Modernism Week will kick off its Fall Preview on Friday, October 9, 2015 with an Early
Buying Preview Reception at the Palm Springs Modernism Show and Sale from 6 to 9
p.m. at its new location at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Join fellow collectors and
design enthusiasts at this spirited cocktail reception and get an exclusive sneak peak of
the Modernism Show & Sale before it opens to the general public.
Be among the first to shop this world-class collection of 40 premier national and
international dealers offering furniture, decorative and fine arts representing all design
movements of the 20th century, and introducing 21st century items. The Preview
Reception includes hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails and refreshing beverages, live
musical entertainment. Modernism Show & Sale weekend hours are Saturday 10 a.m. -
6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
In honor of Frank Sinatra’s upcoming 100th
birthday later this year, the Modernism Week
Fall Preview will also host these events:
• Palm Springs Art Museum’s party on Saturday, October 10, 'Meet the Architecture and
Design Center – The Rat Pack Experience’ will be hosted by Frank Sinatra’s daughter
Nancy Sinatra and her daughter (Frank’s granddaughter) Amanda Erlinger.

For the first time, the Fall Preview will include tours of Sunnylands, Charles Phoenix bus
tours, and a One-PS Neighborhood tour featuring all new homes. Free events include a
Vintage Car Show, Hot Purple Energy Bike Tour, Paul Kaplan’s Modern Yard Sale, and
an evening event at the Uptown Design District.
On Sunday, October 11 there will be a benefit for the Aluminaire House Foundation:
'Sunset Reception at The Swan House' in Thunderbird Heights. Additional highlights
