Fall Preview Highlight:Exploring Palm Springs – Neighborhoods and Home Tour
If you’re intrigued by the desert’s unique take on modernist neighborhoods and curious about
midcentury residences in Palm Springs, this self-driven tour is for you. Modernism Week has
joined forces with the Palm Springs Neighborhood Involvement Committee (PSNIC) to
provide a unique overview of the City’s captivating desert modern neighborhoods
Guided by a souvenir map created specifically for the tour, you’ll drive at your own pace
through neighborhoods that best embody the heritage and modernist aesthetic of residential
Palm Springs. Vista Las Palmas, El Rancho Vista Estates, Little Araby, Indian Canyons and
Racquet Club Estates are just some of the quintessentially midcentury enclaves included on
the excursion. One or two homes will be open for interior touring in some of the
neighborhoods, providing an opportunity to pause at any time and fully immerse in the
distinctive midcentury vibe.
Net proceeds from the tour will benefit PSNIC – an all-volunteer service committee
comprised of and representing 35 officially certified neighborhood organizations in Palm
Springs. It’s a great tour for a great cause!
