• I thought during pre production that it would be beneficial to read reviews of films that fall under the same genre as ours. After reading this review: 'Fear
is a universal emotion and a timeless one. But “Silence of the Lambs” is not merely a thrill show. It is also about two of the most memorable characters in
movie history, Clarice Starling and Hannibal Lecter, and their strange, strained relationship (“people will say we're in love,” Lecter cackles).'- an extract
from Roger Ebert's review of Silence of the lambs, , I thought that we would need complicated characters with relationships that were memorable in
order for our film to succeed. I believe that we reached our target audience. I showed our film to 40 people of a fairly wide demographic that were
separated by sexuality, ethnicity, age, gender and basic hobbies and interests, for example some were extroverts who loved sports whilst others were
introverts who prefered to read. The results were that 30 people liked the film, 5 had mixed opinions and 5 did not like the film so I asked one from each
for more feedback.

3. Post production feedback
• A person who enjoyed our film said that they particularly liked the mise en scene and that it felt 'atmospheric' in the church so we believe we succeeded in
creating tension in the natural eerie setting of the church, a person who had mixed opinions stated that the story line wasn't engaging to them but felt it
had redeeming qualities nevertheless and the person who didn't like our film said the non linear story was too complicated to interest them. To improve in
the future we could write a more understandable and accessible plot that is established within the first minute.
