My group consisted of myself, Fatha, and Hamda. Together we produced a teen comedy news report sequence that resembles other films in the genre like Mean Girls, Easy A, and Not Another Teen Movie. The sequence features stereotypical high school social groups and characters, uses satirical humor to appeal to its target audience of teenagers ages 13-18, and receives positive feedback from viewers that it accurately portrays high school cliques and conflicts. Areas for improvement include better organization, time management, setting, and use of iMovie features.
