They decided to use the letters GCA in their logo as they are the first letters of their first names and it looks like stars, taking inspiration from DreamWorks productions. They also used white writing on a black background for visibility. A film distributor controls advertising for the film by setting an announcement and release date and deciding how to promote it. Their chosen distributor was Icon because Icon has distributed many successful films in the same genre as theirs, such as Paranormal Activity, which also inspired their film.

The production company are the ones that are accountable for
producing the funding for the production. It organizes the the
budget, the scripting, the distribution, advertising the supply of
resources, the staff and the scheduling.

2. What does distributor do?
A film distributor is person or a company who is in
control for advertising the film. The distributor is
the one that will make it public, for example they
may set a announcement date of when it is going to
be released and how they are going to display it.

us with our film so Icon seemed
a very relevant film distribution
to distribute our film.

4. Funding
We would apply to the British Film Institute to fund
our film as they dispense lottery money to British
low films just like our own. This means that the pay
for creating the film and marketing would all be
sorted.
