Our target audience for the psychological horror film is people ages 18-25, as this age group commonly watches these types of films. While the film contains some violence, it is rated 15 rather than 18 since it is not overly graphic. Both women and men are part of the target demographic, as women enjoy the emotional aspects and connecting with female protagonists, while men appreciate the occasional violence and action scenes.

Study: The Future of VR, AR and Self-Driving CarsLinkedIn
We asked LinkedIn members worldwide about their levels of interest in the latest wave of technology: whether they’re using wearables, and whether they intend to buy self-driving cars and VR headsets as they become available. We asked them too about their attitudes to technology and to the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the devices that they use. The answers were fascinating – and in many cases, surprising.
This SlideShare explores the full results of this study, including detailed market-by-market breakdowns of intention levels for each technology – and how attitudes change with age, location and seniority level. If you’re marketing a tech brand – or planning to use VR and wearables to reach a professional audience – then these are insights you won’t want to miss.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is everywhere, promising self-driving cars, medical breakthroughs, and new ways of working. But how do you separate hype from reality? How can your company apply AI to solve real business problems?
Here’s what AI learnings your business should keep in mind for 2017.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Target audience
1. Who would be the audience for your media product?
2. Age The age for our film is 15 as that is the minimum age for our target audience. Our target audience is 18 – 25 as they are the most common age groups that watch psychological horrors. We made it a certificate 15 as the film is not horrific enough to be classified as an 18.
3. Gender Women are part of our target audience as psychological horrors cross the boundaries of dramas. As many women are the target audience for dramas, it is not mystery to why they enjoy watching psychological horrors as they involve less action and violence. Psychological horrors also attach to the viewer on a more emotional scale as opposed to just fear. Often the protagonist is a female so they connect with them on an emotional way. Males are also apart of our target audience as many of the men will enjoy the violence or action when it does happen in the film.
